Jee, im gonna sound like this guys biggest defendant after going along with the jokes. How many shots did he chuck up in the second half? I recall no bad shots, except maybe one 3pter he kind of rushed when we were down 7-10 to after making a basket or two. He still shot over 50%, good D. IMO had a solid night. Give credit when its due. Once again if Hill makes a couple of those shots, had any type of bench and Allen doesnt have a career first quarter we win the game.

He digressed from a solid first half. Offensively, he was holding on to the ball far too long, took shots early in the shot clock which were bad looks, and stopped playing hard. He tried to take upon himself to be "aggressive" but he's not the player to do that. He can be aggressive within the offense, but he disrupted the run we were making when the game was tied.

Wes disappeared in the second half, but at least he showed some signs of life FINALLY in the first half! I'll take it at this point. The previous games he was either a nothing out there or a detriment. He showed us something after all, which gives me a little hope for the guy. Not much. But a little.

The one thing I did really like from Wes tonight besides the solid 1st half was all of the deflections he had. Stu was right, those wont show up on the stat sheet but his hands were active tonight and I liked that a lot from him.

Still makes me disgusted that he didnt get call on the fastbreak dunk when Conley clearly hit his arm.

He hasn't been as terrible the last 2 games and he was more active on defense. If he can just play within himself that would help a lot.

He's still useless and inconsistent. He had 5 points in the 2nd half; although, he looked more engaged, he still looks at best just 'serviceable.'

This. The hate is all warranted, but he FINALLY did something right and played a decent game and the refs screw him on that breakaway. He should have been to the line and that changes the complexion of the entire game.

Thank goodness Wes showed up last night.

His 4 points / 1 reb / 0-3 three point shooting in 32 stat monster minutes were a key to the victory.

He came up big down the stretch. I hope he builds off this and proves us wrong. Me in particular :)

Wow. The last person I think any of us would expect to come up with a big play at the end of the game...either way, kudos, Wesley.

Me, too. I couldn't believe Wes' defense was the game changer tonight. Could it be he finally got a brain?! Seriously, though, superb job on D down the stretch tonight on Beard. Where the heck has this been all year long? Bring this every night and we are going to win a lot more games. Way to come through finally, Wes!! You been listening to us over here or something?

While he's been absolutely horrible more often than not, I do hope this game is a turning point for him. He has the potential to play defense like he did on Harden every night but his mind is all over the place. Maybe all the talk of him getting replaced by Quincy Miller and the like have finally flipped the switch. I still cringe every time he shoots the ball though.

I can't complain with anything at all after what he did in the final minutes of last night's game. Fabulous job Wes, I'm just praying this will give you some kind of confidence moving forward.
