What I got from the first 3:30 or so of this video....should be interesting how the screening game works with this team. Obviously, as was shown in the video, Hibbert was hot garbage at it and Julius was largely disinterested in it outside of the Kobe 60 game (even saying that he hadn't wanted to set screens like that all season (?) I believe (someone feel free to check me on that)). EVERYONE has to be a willing and capable screener in this offense!

Well to be fair Julius was setting ILLEGAL screens in that game. :D REALLY illegal...

I think Julius is capable of setting screens if he's properly motivated just like I think Jordan can be a capable defender when properly motivated.

Hey, if KG and some others can get away with it for an entire career why can't Randle? ;) The Warriors set illegal screens all day long to get Curry and Klay open, that's the league now.

Oh I'm with you, but even Julius admitted after the game he's too young now to get away with those every night.

Bickerstaff was seen in Memphis meeting Fizdale about a coaching position. I'd be bummed out if we didn't get the young Bickerstaff.

With Ingram, obviously, I think this offense has a better chance to work. With Simmons not so much, maybe as a primary ballhandler, but there are a lot of ball stoppers in the starting line up.

Looks like we are going to have to wait a bit longer, as expected.

I'd wait until September if it meant LeBron ends this season 2-5 in the Finals.

The 3-1 adversity was good experience for our boy Luke.

I believe it when I see it. She won't say the truth because of tampering punishment.

Anyway, I think she is the one that needs to step down. She has done nothing for the Lakers as far as I'm concerned except constantly reminding everyone that Jim must be competitive or has to step down.

With her behavior, she provokes the front office to make short term decisions that cost us longterm. If she had a brain cell or two, she would come out and say the front office is here to stay, period. She doesn't do that...why? because she is dumb and wants her lover to take over.

I actually agree with all of this, but I gotta hope this turns out to be true. I'm tired of all the front office drama and want it to end one way or another.

I would assume this Time Warner TV deal that made the Lakers rich was her doing

    What a great series!

Obviously everyone will look back to games 6 and 7 and see Klay and Steph going berserk from 3, but the one thing I noticed that is a silver lining when looking at how the system adapts to our roster is this:

Game 5, when the backs were against the wall, GS made a concerted effort to and won the points in the paint battle. You CAN run this system with a limited 3pt% team, it's just easier to have Klay and Steph.

And if you look at most of the 3s hit by people who aren't the Splash Bros, they are created by drive and kick and ball movement and are fairly wide open. Solid NBA shooters can knock down a lot of shots in this system.
