I'm surprised Kawahi got 1st team over Durant. And not just because of the Playoffs. Check out the stats KL: 21.2 ppg 6.8 rpg 2.6 apg 1.8 stl 1.0 blk .506 FG% .443 3P% 192 3PA KD: 28.2 ppg 8.2 rpg 5.0 apg 1.0 stl 1.2 blk .505 FG% .386 3P% 483 3PA
I'm surprised as well. What they need to do is remove the center position like the All-Star ballots. DeAndre looks ridiculous on that 1st team roster.
DeAndre Jordan is the first player to make the all-nba first team while not being an all-star since Maravich in 1976. Lol. I'm surprised that Harden didn't make a team but glad he didn't.
Anthony Davis lost 24 million dollars by not making any one of these teams. Talk about a bad year be injured. And lol, DeAndre Jordan 1st team all NBA.
eh, cousins was clearly the best center in the league, imo, even if he's not as good a defender as he should be. i think there was just a lot of weight on wins. which is ok by me. if you're really good, it should show up in the win column. i suppose that and the injury cost davis, but it's sort of silly that he's not on there. love that harden didn't make it, and the only real argument would be lowry, whom i like a lot more than harden for several reasons. watching the playoffs, i've been wondering if a) green is really overrated and b) steven adams is really underrated.
Adams is certainly underrated. He's going to get a huge pay check and he deserves it. He might be one of the better Centers around right now. Green is definitely overrated, but still very good. He's an absolutely perfect #3, but without Klay and Curry playing at an extremely high level he's not able to do much. I know there's a lot of aspects where we hope Randle gets to Green's level, but I believe Randle is much more naturally talented than Draymond. Julius can actually produce offense and I'm not sure Draymond can do that. Of course Julius can only pray to become close to Draymond's level defensively, but a lot of that is system, effort, and desire. If Julius wanted to, he could be better than Draymond. He just has to put in the work.
all-grit. according to our deposed "coach", that roster would have racked up some wins! he just wasn't allowed to play his guys!
