I honestly don't think it was intentional, his eyes are pretty much closed when it happens. The issue here is flopping or "selling a call". He flailed his arms and his leg to sell the call, and unfortunately his leg went to the worst possible place. I've watched it a hundred times now and I don't see intent, it happens too fast for him to have that good of aim, with his face scrunched up trying to sell the foul. Intent would matter much less if this wasn't a star player in the series though, let's not kid ourselves. Kobe was suspended for much less on an unintentional play because of his flailing. Flailing and flopping are bad for the game, that should be the message here. LeB**** should have been fined for his flopping (the one with his own teammate AND the Biyombo foul at the hoop that wasn't anywhere near as bad as he acted like it was) Green should be here, so should anyone else that pulls this crap.
Valid points but I'm not so sure that someone can be doing that and not be aware of who is around them. Adams was right in front of Green so I can't be convinced he did not see him doing his high kick. If it is part of his schtick, fine, but I reckon that catching someone inadvertently with his flails is OK by him. I do agree that these kinds of actions should not be tolerated. At least Green wasn't as bad an actor or salesperson as Chris Paul and James.
I think he deserved to be suspended, but I'm okay with him not being suspended. Just wish the NBA was consistent. Remember Kobe being suspended for "unnatural" arm swings on shots. Man o man, the NBA had it out for him back then.
Last important player to get suspended for a playoffs was Z-bo for Game 7 against OKC ... It doesn't happen much . KD should have been suspended against the Mavs , same thing for I.Thomas against ATL this postseason ..
I thought Draymond should've been suspended, but I honestly don't care that much. It would've taken away from what should be a good game because OKC would've likely blown out the Warriors again. This should be an epic game ala Game 1 tonight.
GSW haven't done themselves any favors with the sloppy play and turnovers, but wow these refs will not call a foul in favor of them.
OKC went on this big run because Klay got taken out after the 3rd BS foul. GS might've kept it close if Klay stayed in
Steph Curry is definitely shook up. I don't blame him, he and the Warriors are getting beat up at the rim. OKC has way more energy though and the refs will feed off that energy. The Warriors look scared. OKC is going to win this series in six games and then win the Championship. I have to think that hurts the chances of either Durant or Westbrook leaving anytime soon.
Seems okc has figured them out. You don't dominate 2 games in a row on accident this late in a series.
I'm fine with that. They're my two favorite players in the league after Kobe. I'd love to see them win it all. Better them than the Cavaliers.
