This is pretty crazy and just really, really unprofessional.

Edit: It seems like Ty Lawson was excused, but Afflalo still just ditched practice.

Afflalo sounds really unhappy over there. I wonder if there's a move coming.

Shaw is also doing a pretty awful job too of keeping that locker room's attention.

Agreed. Let's not forget there was a situation with Andre Miller and Shaw not getting along; it resulted in Miller getting traded to the Wizards last year...by the way, I do like Affalo's game and would welcome here in a second. A good 2 way player...we need more of those

Steve Nash would be integral in bringing that locker room back together. Just give us Afflalo and even though this will be difficult for us, we will give you Nash.

The nuggets are a mess, hard to believe they were a young hungry team on the rise just a few years ago.

George Karl and Iggy were big losses. I neve understood why Karl got so much flack or why he was even fired.

    ^ Mediocrity.

Karl is a good coach, but he couldn't get them over the hump. The Nuggets were stuck at just above average, they thought a change of scenery would help... Turns out it got worse, but at least they're bottoming out now.

That McGee contract could not really look worse at this point.

Was at the Trailblazers-Nuggets game the other night.. My friend and I were probably ~50ft from the Nuggets bench, and towards the end of the game when they were getting blownout we starting screaming for George Karl lol. The arena was pretty quiet, I'm sure that Shaw must've heard us... :)

I expect him to join Fish and Phil in NY before he comes here.

Karl had the talent in Seattle and failed. Getting Denver to do anything would take a higher power. Karl did a great job there. They just didn't have the talent. I saw no reason for him to be fired.

I think it became a question of how long were they going to be "okay". I don't disagree that he did a great job, but whether or not it was his fault is immaterial really. They wanted to change it up and get new blood in there to see if they could go to higher heights. They couldn't. Turns out it wasn't Karl that held them back, but talent. At least now they know though.

Why is afflalo a cancer everywhere? Orlando and now denver? Is it that younger generation sense of entitlement without putting in the work? Such a talent. Might do well with kobe on his Hyde.
