Kobe has charisma and a personality, he could have really done well in this role. Almost all of Lebron's character traits are flaws. He has the personality of Omer Asik and a vat of mashed potato. Would rather see a Steph Curry spacejam. Hopefully GSW can win again and spoil the narrative. Which WB character is going to play the Delonte West role and hook up with the mom. My guess is Yosemite Sam.

I just soaked up some salty Cavs fan tears about Curry being the first unanimous MVP. One of them was saying when Cavs beat GS it will finally diminish the "outdated" MVP award. How in the world can a Lebron fan complain about the MVP award when that is one of the main reasons why people elevate the Kang to top 3-5 all time lol?

^^^ The same Cavs fans that hated LeBron a year ago, and were burning his jersey 4/5 years ago? Yeah, I don't put much stock into what they have to say. If he left again this summer they'd burn his jersey all over again.

Not to mention didn't Steph also join the 50/40/90 club, win 73 games, and played significantly fewer minutes because his team blew others' out so often?

In 08 LeBron played 3027 minutes averaging 40.4 minutes per game. Usage 33.6%
In 06 LeBron played 3388 minutes averaging 42.5 minutes per game. Usage 33.5%
In 16 Curry played 2700 minutes averaging 34.2 minutes per game. Usage 32.6%

Those aren't to be held against him necessarily, that's crazy impressive BUT it inflates his numbers because he's on the court so much. Steph did more with less time. Adjusted Per36:

    LeBron in 06: 26.5 points/6 rebounds/5.6 assists
    LeBron in 08: 26.8 points/ 7 rebounds/ 6.4 assists
    Curry in 16: 31.7 points/ 5.7 rebounds/ 7 assists

LeBron has what, 4 MVP awards? Who gives a s*** if they were unanimous? LeBron's game is ugly, Curry's game is a thing of beauty, maybe that hurts LeBron. LeBron gets to drive to the hoop at will because of the no hand checking rules, and if he gets touched when he gets there he gets free throws. He can't shoot for s*** though. Curry bombs threes from all over and makes ridiculous layups, has insane handles, it's a thing of beauty. LeBron was slurped for years and years and years, some idiots have said he's already at MJ's level or 1 title away from it, when he's not even at Kobe's level yet. LeBron had been the most beloved, protected, fawned over star in years, his fans have zero to complain about. When he wins he was great, when he loses he didn't have enough help. He's about to make 6 straight finals because that conference has been garbage for a while now, while Kobe had to go through some serious battles to get where he did, and Steph has had to face tougher teams in his one title run than LeBron did for his last 4 Finals runs I'd say. Screw that crap.

Can't be better than MJ when you are 2-4 in the finals.

There may never be another stat stuffer like Lebronze in the NBA, but many legends like Larry Bird said he'd take Kobe over Lebron if you cared about winning over having fun.

Kobe might have shortened his career by playing through injuries to the extreme, but for a player the size of Lebron being like a linebacker, some of his soft moments are flat out embarrassing. Having to cheat to win at his size? Really?

Basically the director of Space Jam thinks it's a bad idea. He said they were lucky with a perfect cast (who could do the minimal acting necessary) and that cast doesn't exist today. Not enough players to make the acting work and LeBron is no MJ on OR off the court.

According to Stephen A, Wade was injured and not the same player he is right now, and Bosh was "no Tim Duncan". He completely brushed off Bosh, as if he wasn't even there, discounting how important his outside shooting was opening things up for that team, and the underrated defense he played in those title years. The narrative always changes in favor of LeBron, I'm just glad at least some people on ESPN did call him out for this and said he was thin skinned, jealous, etc..

'That's why this season has likely been a challenge for him at times. Seeing the eyes constantly focused on another player like Stephen Curry -- he's not used to that. James has been the game's signature star for nearly a decade. Bryant always owned some corners, but since James first made the Finals in 2007, it's been his league. He's been the marquee Christmas Day attraction.

His free agencies have captured fans like nothing that's come before. He got the most magazine covers. He got the best shoe contract. He got the most time on SportsCenter.

Until now. Until this magical season that Curry and the Golden State Warriors are having. Thousands of fans don't come to see James warm up. When Curry and James both have great nights, it's usually Curry who gets top billing. This is a new world for him.

When James was a rookie, he was stung when he wasn't named to the All-Star team. He was so upset that he said he wouldn't even accept an invitation as an injury replacement.

"I'm an only child and I never want to be picked second," James said then. "I don't come second."

He was 19 then; he's too savvy to say something like that now. But his feelings haven't changed much. For a long time, his coming second on the NBA's attention meter wasn't much of an option. But that's no longer the case and, at moments recently, James has shown an inkling to yank at the spotlight. And it's worked, especially over the past few weeks.'

He will never be as popular world wide as either Kobe or Jordan, and that will always bother him.
