I have a new appreciation for him. Man if the Heat were fully healthy I truly believe they could have beat the LeCavs.
From what I saw the Heat were moving the ball around nicely between Wade, Johnson, and Dragic. The Raptors were all ISO, was B0ron level terrible.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/...t=&order_by=ws List of guys with >200 shots in playoffs and < 35% fg% Basically, Derozan is having the worst postseason out of all players since 1960
Apparently Derozan is dealing with a thumb injury on his shooting hand that is bad enough that can't move his thumb. Saw it on Twitter.
it was hard to watch derozan in this one. he looked scared; he's too good for that. his agent has to be getting nervous at this point. wade played well, but Toronto needed to make Miami knock down outside shots to open the lane. he just waltzed in there. which is what derozan should have been doing instead of pulling up for long twos. this makes a lot more sense now. would also explain why he's so hesitant/clumsy handling the ball.
Just dropping into this thread to see who won the game. Sounds like Heat in OT. But this quote has a "thing" about it. :Headbang:
I'll still take him without hesitation. If anything hopefully he's playing down his market value a little bit somehow.
I'd rather have Miami face the Cavs. Spolestra is the better coach and maybe Wade can have a classic game or two. Sucks their two best big men are injured though or else it could be the best series out East this year.
If this is true it would help explain a lot. I say if because I want confirmation, otherwise I take it as possible spin from his agent to still get max. If he does have a bad thumb injury that has to largely explain his shooting woes, because as Exonyte pointed out, he's historically bad.
Lol, that's not fair though, Kobe isn't human. If the man was physically able to play during the playoffs. He only missed one game in the 2000 Finals with a terrible ankle sprain. Even Steph Curry would have been sitting out a while with that one and he's the soon to be 2 time MVP/best in the game.
How'd you like to be the next shooting guard after Kobe? Kind of like following Phil Jackson. Lots of criticism, and some of it will be unfair. Kobe sure set an all time high standard....
" Tension" between Dragic and Wade over ball handling duties rumored by ESPN Lebron boy .( Windhorst) LOL at the timing
