I've become a big fan of Giannis Anteokoumpo (or however you spell it) and I was taking a quick look at that roster and I think they can do some damage in the East.

They got a nice promising group of players with an improving coach (Jason Kidd)

    C Monroe / Pachulia
    PF Jabari/ Plumlee
    SF Giannis/ OJ Mayo
    SG Middleton/Jerryd Bayless
PG Michael Carter Willians/ Greivis Vasquez

But yea Greek Freak and Jabari are a pretty nice tandem upfront. It seems like this team can bring a highlight reel every night but can they win the East? thoughts?

I really like their starting lineup. Their length have the Bulls a hard time last year. They can easily be a top team in the East if all their young players improve and Parker is back healthy. Several vets on the bench as well.

They're going to be good for a long while, if they can keep the core intact. Their length and versatility is unique. They'll never be better than Cleveland and won't be better than Miami for at least a couple years. Hawks will continue to be the mini Spurs as long as Bud is calling the shots. Then there's Chicago...who knows with them, it's a matter of health. And who knows what will happen in the east when the cap spikes -- Durant to DC, someone...anyone to NY.

I feel like they still need a veteran vocal leader, even if it's a backup. That's not as significant as it is with most teams because Kidd is the coach, but as coach he doesn't have the time to be that guy too.

I feel like Caron Butler here can do a lot of good for that team.

Also if Monroe was a little better at playing defense he can make their defense a lot more dangerous.

i've always had a soft spot for the bucks

definitely my eastern conference team. nice to see they're on their way to potentially becoming an EC powerhouse for a while to come. giannis, parker, middleton, and now monroe. wow that is one stacked and young team. excited to see what they'll do

What's that, about 2 months until training camp? I could get into decent shape by then.

looks at lineup. opts for the pack-it-in zone. defeats that lineup.
