Doesn't mean much, but at least he found a rhythm again. First good shooting game in like a month.

DA is now 1 triple behind Gary Neal for 16th most as a rookie. If he hits just 1 per game for the rest of the season, he'll end up tied with Eric Gordon for 14th. If he hits two per game, he'll end up tied with Ben Gordon for 12th.

He's also the youngest player with at least 85 triples and 85 steals. Should be able to reach 90/90.

Finally, here's a list of the players under 20 who scored more points in a season than D'Angelo: Melo, LeBron, Durant, Wiggins, Kobe, Marbury, Devin Booker. DA could pass both Booker and Marbury. That would put him at 6th on the list, just behind Kobe.

    Not bad, rook.

Not sure if it's true, but on Twitter someone said Byron said D'Angelo was awful. Wouldn't surprise me if it were true. What a freaking moron.

Isn't DAR 20 ? If you included those 20 years old, how would that affect the list? (since you said under 20, I'm assuming you're only counting teens).

He said D'Angelo and Jordan shot well but were awful on the defensive end and needed to share the ball more since they only had 2 assists between the two of them

Singling out the guards while the entire team was awful.

Under the circumstances, he's putting together a relatively decent rookie season. By next year, he will be really good. Our strength and conditioning coach does a fantastic job with our team. Randle transformed his body, Clarkson got stronger, and the list goes on.

Russell will come back with a much stronger and able to handle a full 82 games. I can't wait until Tim gets a full summer w/him.

He's officially in his "age 19" season, according to Basketball Reference.

So, all players of similar "age" are included.

Great to see his offense come back tonight. Yes, defensively he was bad, but so was EVERYONE on our team, Boron. How did you neglect to mention that? Anyway, 32 points, are you kidding me? Good stuff.

Russell is going to be a very, very good player in this league. He has responded incredibly well to the Nick Young incident for a person his age. He has decent vision, he already shoots with confidence, and I can sniff a little bit of killer instinct in him. The future is bright if we can get beyond this silly ordeal.

Although I'd rather take Ingram from a purely basketball perspective, Im starting to feel like Simmons would be the best thing for us. He and Russell are very, very close. It could make the transition into post Kobe life incredibly smooth.

Russell/Clarkson/Simmons/Randle/ is a great starting place. I'll take that with max slots available all day long.

I mean... he's not wrong. But why the f*** does he have to say that to the media? What good does that serve? Tell them in the locker room... THEN DO SOMETHING TO TEACH THEM YOU PIECE OF CRAP.

Byron will never change. This constantly calling guys out in the media instead of telling them man to man hasn't worked and won't ever work. Didn't work last year, this year, his other stops, there is a reason nobody likes playing for this guy. How much is it to ask him to be a professional about it? Not only is he f***ing clueless, but he's about as immature as the young guys we have on this team.

How good would it be if about a week after Kobe retires, the FO lets Byron go? It's just so glaringly obvious that he is not the right coach for this young squad going forward. He actually blamed our young players for our bad record this year. He keeps blaming and shaming them. It's more than just "old school." It's borderline Medieval. All the while his favorite veterans are guilty of the same or worse - Lou and Kobe's defense this entire year? Are you kidding me?

It ain't working. The record demonstrates it. His career coaching record re-emphasizes it. He's not a good coach. And he's been the worst Lakers coach in history.

This needs to be stopped now.

^^^ It would be good, but it would be better if he's "let go" a DAY after Kobe retires. Exit interview, literal EXIT interview.

Kick Boron out of the driver's seat..... put him in this building and turn the tank around. Works for me.
