You guys are right... losing the pick would be devastating, but I'd cancel my league pass if Byron came back.

I would give away the pick and Clarkson for free just to get rid of this... person. And I love Clarkson

I'd hate that and we shouldn't have to. Would rather resort to Lakers "civil disobedience" in the streets and harassing the s*** out of Jeanie and the FO in the media to get it done. Clarkson for now should be a keeper until we see what his ceiling finally starts to look like.

Now...pointing out the problem with a coach, the teacher of our youth, saying this is almost insulting to everyone's intelligence. And I know this type of thinking is probably viewed at by the FO as unorthodox, but maybe next season we could try someone that teaches the young guys "what they should be doing".

This is an unintentional evaluation of his own performance if you ask me.

Byron back hands down. You can overcome losing the pick. With Byron coaching there is no hope other than you will get another shot at a pick.

Losing the pick. bOron's "future" is 100% dependant on our FO.
We don't need luck, basketball gods help, good fortune, none of that. We just need an owner with an ounce of brain. To me it looks like they don't give a f*** and i refuse to watch this garbage product they created.

I disagree that they don't give a f***. I think their incompetence is so overwhelming, it merely looks like they don't care. They reality is they care deeply, but have the IQ of a dwarf hamster.

Dude, when I was in my first year of college I got a job at Petco. One of the jobs was to clean the hamster cages (even though I lied about being allergic to them and birds to try to avoid it. It didn't work. lol) But I must have been bit at least a dozen times by dwarf hamsters. Those things are pure f***ing evil.

I don't know man. Employing the WORST coach in NBA history and still wanting to give him another year, sounds like "not giving a f***" to me. No one is that stupid, not even rich, spoild kids...

I don't think the front office is totally incompetent. The only thing they've done that is egregious is not firing Byron, and that's just because he's Lakers family. Yeah, they should have, but they didn't, so moving on..... (but they better fire him over the summer)

The rest is a mixed bag. Like the FO has been terrible at recruiting top talent through free agency, but fantastic at the draft. This is the kind of thing an executive like Jerry West could fix. Here's to hoping Ryan West moves up quick in the organization, and has his dad's mojo.

Welcome to no longer being one of the best Front Offices in the NBA. This is what most other teams deal with.

    RIP Jerry Buss
