He's gone this summer I believe, whether by trade or waive.

Will Boron even let him back on the court again this season?

We've been trying to trade him for at least a year now, probably two. The only way someone takes him probably is if he's attached to the 1st round pick. Otherwise, we're just going to waive him and he'll have to go overseas to likely get a job in the NBA.

He's been lost mentally since well before this incident.

Well...given the turmoil after Russell's gaffe and now it may look like his engagement could be called off. It's understandable. He can't even take refuge on the court anymore. Tough times for him personally and it is just starting...

Tough time for him, but what can you do? To be honest it's a good thing he isn't with the team at the moment. They don't need that negative energy/vibes from him, especially being in close quarters with Russell. He will most likely be gone this offseason, so it looks like his offseason came early. On a side note, he hasn't been mentally with the team since the season started anyway, it's not like we're losing anything.

First thing I've heard Byron say that I agree on all season long.

What's your excuse BS? For 2 years your mind's been on that 60+ mil in FA money that could save yo' a** and maybe let you ascend to the levels of mediocrity. Did it ever occur to you, coach, that basketball is the one thing in these guys' lives that can take their minds off off the external BS in their lives and just may force him to deal with his issues with his teammate?

I hope they fire Byron as soon as the last game ends.. no idea why they haven't already.

Haven't you been following his record breaking season? He's the worst coach of all time! He's a tanking champ!

Sadly, that would be his reply, at least in private. Publicaly he would say "Uh, last time I checked, I was an NBA coach and you aren't" This fits in with his "Cool Club" mentality. You know, Kobe, Lou, we're in the cool club, Bass too sometimes, most of the vets, but the youth are in the S*** Club. He alienates players he has an issue with. That's how he handled DAR, that's how he handles Nick, everybody. You know if the situation with DAR happened with Pop, he'd put him in front of the team and let them rip into them and have it out until the issue was settled. Same with anyone else. That's the difference between a coach who can also be a dad, when needed, and someone who just knows the right things to say to an idiot like Jim.

To me, Nick was nonexistant this year, from day one. Could care less if he stays or gets waived.

Guess Iggy and Nick are fine.

The D’Angelo Russell-Nick Young-Iggy Azalea drama might have made for an awkward storyline as the Lakers’ season nears an end, but the singer told Ellen DeGeneres it hadn’t put a damper on her engagement. When asked about the “controversy”, Azalea said in an appearance on DeGeneres’ show that “of course there is. There always is. But we’re good. There isn’t (controversy) at home. Just on the internet.”

Good for them I guess? As far as the Lakers go though, I'd have to think he's gone this summer. Maybe he'll re-join the Clippers if waived so he can stay in LA like he reportedly wants, they love taking our old players.

Huh, weird, from that tweet I thought he meant that Nick didn't come on the road trip at all. I guess he just didn't wanna be on the same plane as Russ?

He did not take the same flight as the Lakers, but made it to the stadium some time during the 1st quarter.

I don't think there was a specific reason why he wasn't on the team plane.
