Recap from Woj interview with Fox Sports; I got from LG.

    Woj Summary:

    - Spoke to D'Angelo about the Nick Young incident, said D'Angelo sounded really apologetic and sincere.

    - Recalled back last year how he interviewed D'Angelo before the Draft and even though D'Angelo tried to play it off where he wanted to be drafted, all D'Angelo talked about with Woj was wanting to play for the Lakers, to be the Lakers' future PG.

    - Woj then asked D'Angelo if he remembered that conversation last year, and if he knew then what he knew now, would he still have wanted to be a Laker. D'Angelo's answer was (paraphrasing) "I've learned that there is a bigger responsibility when I wear the Laker's uniform, good and bad, but I love this city, I love this franchise, I want to make it right, I love being a Laker."

    - Woj said that the team has moved on from the Russell/Young story and as long as Russell keeps his focus on basketball.

    - Woj said he's spoken with other FA, and the bottom line is, this will not affect their decisions to sign in LA since this wasn't an occurring incident. Woj said people waiting to blame FA not coming to LA because of the Russell/Young incident is false speculation.

    - Regarding FA, Woj says the Lakers have not been a great FA destination for years, Kevin Durant will not come here, it's just the reality. The Lakers' looking for a franchise player through free agency will not happen, it has to come from within the team (home grown).

I understand that riff to a certain extent, but unless Nick Young thinks D'Angelo did this intentionally and maliciously then it's just an accident. You don't have to like him or be friends with him again, but you also shouldn't harbor resentment. If you think he did this on purpose and ruined your engagement for some reason (who knows why?), then sure be upset. Fight it out if you have to (in a controlled environment after the season preferably i.e. Rocky III ending), but if it was an accident then let it go! It's YOUR fault you cheated. If the answer to D'Angelo's questions was "I've never cheated man" this wouldn't be a story today, would it?

Nick's immaturity has become an issue now. D'Angelo is already an impressionable young kid and he needs to be hanging out with more positive influences. Nick was a good sideshow when we stunk because he provided levity while we tried to get better. Now it's time for him to leave so D'Angelo can have some strong veteran presence. Roy Hibbert might not be as much fun as Nick Young, but he's a better friend and teammate. Hang out with that guy instead. The worst you'll do is talk trash to some 14 year olds on a video game console.

The longer Nick holds out on all of this, making snide quips and passive aggressive tweets, the more all that fire that was on D is gonna circle around on him. You're not a victim Swaggy, sorry.

Oh, piss off, Nick. Real mature of you. On both cheating and owning up accounts.

Not sure what Nick really expects here. In the end, he can't win this. Russell is the future and folks aren't going to be upset with him forever. Tweets like this are going to backfire on him. He has to start moving forward.

And besides. Were it not for this whole situation there would not be this cool photo of Iggy riding this white horse below, with the story as a sub plot. Nice pic!

And Nick, you dummy. What are you thinking. Reminds me of Tiger being hooked up with the world's greatest female downhill racer in history .... the also blond like Elin and also hot (2nd chance here) Lindsey Vonn ..... a fellow pro athlete having to overcome life threatening danger and serious injuries in her sport to be that champion, whom he could relate to and commiserate with ....

    http://www.lindseyvonn.com/en/home/
..... and still (allegedly) it wasn't enough for him. Now .... that's gone .... poof .....too. Back to the Perkins restaurant haunts for him. :ShaqOh2:

Nick seriously? You f***ing cheated on your SO and now you're complaining like you're the victim because you got outed (doesn't really matter how you got outed either)?

Woj has spoken, let's move on and finish the season on a positive note, or at least as positive as possible.

I understand him being upset, but continuing to vent it publicly, AND then delete it each time, come on. Like he said himself, what happened happened. Handle this privately. I never felt "bad" for Young in this, I was only ever shocked that Russ put this out there, and thought it was an invasion of privacy. I don't feel bad for Nick being caught cheating though, and I'm over him acting like a victim. He needs to go this offseason. He needed to go already based on his play, and our lack of need for him, but now if these guys can't work together, he really needs to go.

Barnes is a genius for that
And this culture is rather telling
    I'm more concerned about USC
And where Nick learned his spelling

In all seriousness, Young would not have kept his stepping out on Azalea a secret forever. I'm sure she's aware that temptations abound for ballers and he's sampled some on the side. It just so happens Kid Video accidentally spilled the beans.

Incredibly stupid tweet by Nick if he's trying to deny his unfaithfulness. Sure has a way with words and it puts it all into perspective though.

Trust us Russell, when we say it will get better and more enjoyable being a Laker when we start to win again. It's really encouraging he still loves this team and city despite all the losing this year.
