I want Mitch to stay. There's only a handful of GMs that can say they've built a championship roster. He's too good.

    byron needs to go now

    BUT

if they actually do keep byron it would mean they're trying to tank next season too. which would only make sense if they lose the pick. as incompetent as the FO has been, i'm pretty sure at this point they realize how terrible of a coach byron is. but with the nimrods running this team, nothing is for sure

i'd still like to see mitch get promoted and ryan west brought in as GM. mitch has done the best he could do with the situation this team has been in the past few seasons and it would suck to see him go. jim buss on the other hand, please escort yourself out

It was a good read, but I didn't see anything disputing what Ramona said. Ramona didn't say the Lakers were gonna side with Young over Russ, obviously if one has to go, it's Swaggy P. He highlights this as a prank gone wrong, and again, I absolutely hate to defend a cheater here by default, but I fail to see the humor in a "prank" that will most likely end the future marriage of a teammate. Nick shouldn't be cheating, and yeah he's a goofy dude, but it's just incredibly immature and irresponsible to put private stuff like this out there. If he got hacked it's one thing, if a reporter caught this it's another, but that Russ actually posted it himself as some sort of prank still has me, as the article put it, "aghast". Do I think we should trade Russ? Hell no!

I think Ramona tends to get a little too sensationalistic for me.

I never liked russell from day one. I do have to admit that his play has gotten better over the year at a faster pace than I first thought,
but I didn't like his comments towards kobe early on and he just reminds me of everything I don't like about millennials. I hope he
    learns and grows from this.

I think trading DA would be a catastrophe. He has star potential, and he's having a very good rookie season. We're going to burn that to assist the C Bags?

And no, Russ isn't going anywhere, that's ridiculous. Highest draft pick we've had in 30 years, star potential, he's not being traded for anything less than a star in return.

Russell needs to show up to the game with a black eye. That's how I'll know Young accepted the apology lol

Liking only because I laughed. I don't support this kind of "We cool now" move :)

Our society is beyond f---ed up. I mean, people just want to beat the hell out of Russell about the Bro Code that is evidently inscribed on stone tablets in the Ark of the Covenant. Every commentator is all, "I don't condone what Nick did, buuuuut CAN YOU BELIEVE RUSSELL!?!?!" I mean, like I said earlier, my beef with Russell has little to do with this "bro-code" nonsense. What if Swaggy was dating Russell's sister? Would it have been against bro code to out him then? I take umbrage with what he has done to the Lakers. He seems like a smart kid. He KNOWS if this crap gets out, it will cause THIS type of reaction. That's my main concern. I'm worried about what this does to the Laker brand and our ability to get free agents. I would have no problem with us trading Russell (granted we got something decent back) because I think this does hurt us in this current NBA culture. If this was an office of normal mature adults, this would be a completely different story. But this is a bunch of spoiled millennials that played AAU their whole lives, and they want to continue to plow every chick that gives them even an inkling of chub whether they are married with kids or not. At my work, if this happened, some people would be salty, but in the end whoever the cheater was would be the real villain.

Anyone vote for two years in college
Giving young kids a chance to mature
Or do we keep drafting children
And give them our franchise to butcher

I liked what he told Woj. A good first step in my mind.

I'm having flashbacks to Realm of Shadows who always referred to Kobe as "snitchdevil".

He can always be one of Chris Broussard's multiple sources.

Nick is the one that messed up, and I feel sorry for Iggy.

However D'Angelo made it worse. He should have never made that video. And I thought the Steve Blake spike thing was stupid. This hurts Iggy, Nick, D'Angelo himself, our team and this patient but weary fanbase. Honestly it would have been less destructive for him to have been huffing crystal meth, than this fiasco.

Does my memory serve me right? Realm of Shadows was a gigantic Shaq fan and always kind of had it in for Kobe regardless, right?
