A list of factors I found on the net that indicate incompetent people.

Number 1 – They Think, Say, & Do Negative Things.

Byron continually finds new ways to criticize D'Angelo. Byron with the press in general. Benching the rooks for months while simultaneously tanking. Now that we are "winning" Scott now tells the media that Russel's recent play calling has decreased. If I'm DAR I read that and go WTF? How about a little credit buddy? I remember Pop reeling in Parker a lot when he was a rookie, sure, but he didn't insult him in the press and he played him 30 mins on a contending team. Scott said he curbed DAR's minutes so he wouldn't have 10-15 turnovers yet DAR averages 2.5 TOs a game. His reasonings don't add up.

Number 2 – They Act Before They Think.

Putting in random units composed of players sometime out of position for pre-determined amounts of time, no adjustment.

Number 3 – They Talk Much More Than They Listen

Scott thinks being an NBA coach alone absolves him of media criticism. Byron deflects all of that by saying "That's why you're not a coach Don MacLean" (or whomever). Seen it on the sidelines even with vets (except Kobe of course), Bass will come up, start to give a suggestion and immediately get cut off by Scott. He is perpetually RIGHT all others are WRONG.

Number 4 – They Give Up Easily

The best example of this is the rookie benchings. Call it giving up, call it sabotage, it's wrong. How many time has he yanked a hot player for some questionable sub?

Number 5 – They Try to Bring Others Down To Their Level

He's making Kobe look awful, he's making Hibbert look awful. Neither has to be. He stunted the rooks growth.

Number 6 – They Waste Their Time

How about waste years of everyone's time. I've realized without any doubt that Byron's plan is to somehow hold on until this summer when our 60+ million can make even trash like him look decent. He's doing this by getting Mitch and Jim to buy into his "these rooks need tough love, like I got in Showtime, even though it will mean more losses" pitch.

Number 7 – They Take the Easy Way Out

He's waiting for that 60mil to bail him out so he can reach mediocrity and he's doing it by blaming our players. When has Scott ever said "I should have done this" or "I could have done this better" he is a total blame reflector. He is perpetually right and everyone else is wrong. When you constantly put down your player's abilities to play, both physically and mentally, those negative comments should be redirected right back at you. Just like the bad school teacher, "it's not me, all the kids are dumb". It's sign of incompetence in ANY INDUSTRY to blame your tools when the job just won't get done.

I hate to say it but if we play as good as we have the last 3 games for the rest of the year, we may see another year of Byron Scott.

And yet we still might be bringing him back next year. He and whoever was involved with his hire have dragged the once glorious franchise through s*** and mud with the support from the Showtime era.

Dr Buss must be rolling in his grave.

    Good.

If he goes down as the worst coach ever he is not coming back. I truly believe that.

We can only hope. It's just insane that there was even talk that the FO was considering or leaning toward bringing him back. And that's with him delivering us the two worst season records in franchise history, and putting up resistance to developing our young players all year long. He's a freaking disaster.

Because Byron's coaching is roughly equivalent to the drunken stumbling of Barney Gumble.
