    Today he was bashing Russell for taking the last shot saying he should have just run the clock out.....and he compared it to the Warriors running out the clock when they're up by 15-20 at the end of games :KobeConfused:

    Good see Russell gain some marketing cred... He has the personality for it being relaxed and self assured. Nothing hokey like cars in clouds or double personas.

    @therealdeal It seems Okafor is out for the remainder of the season with a knee surgery. So it's come down to Porzingis vs Russell for that ROY runner-up spot.

    I actually met the guy because I work at the airport as a rental agent he was one of the customers. Wish I took a picture. He really thought he was going to be a Laker, he wanted to be a big Laker legend like the other centers, still said he was blessed just to be on a NBA team, he has the biggest hands I've ever seen lol, but just from the small talk I've had with him he seemed like a nice dude

    The first time I seen him at Ohio State against Indiana he was in attack mode in transition, made an inside/out crossover dribble and scored on a layup; I said, rather loudly, while working mind you; 'he needs to be a Laker.' I just knew it. I settled for Okafor in my brain, but I'm certainly glad we picked our next star in Russell. So, so, glad. Watching his 39-point game and this streak he's putting together of 20-point games is something totally special; the crazy part is the scoring is even the best part of his game...it's his next level vision/passing ability. Wait until we surround him with more talented pieces; it's a wrap. He'll be the face of this franchise for years to come. He has the game, the personality, the confidence, to lead this next generation of Laker basketball.

    yeah, I'm starting to drink the Gatorade. this dude's for real. I may still slightly lament missing out on towns, but I'm not even 100% positive about that given recent events. such a versatile player, so skilled, good size, super high hoop iq. sky's the limit.

    What I like about Russell's overall game is that nothing is hurried or forced. I am impressed by his poise...celebrations aside. The way Russell moves on the floor will help his longevity as a player. High fly acts might get the oohs and aahs but they expose themselves to injury. Pair that innate ability and court vision with a cerebral approach plus talent, Russell is a nice combo guard.

    Seriously, what the hell is it with every big man that goes there? Do they not do their homework on some of these guys? Is their medical staff incompetent? Is this the universe saying "see what happens when you purposely tank"?

    Well, they took two of them (Noel and Embiid) knowing they were coming off major injury. Okafor's is minor. The universe allowing them to get hurt isn't actually teaching them a lesson. With their twisted logic, they're probably ecstatic.
