Tough call on if I want that head case on the Lakers (assuming Byron is gone). We have such good chemistry with the kids I wouldn't want to poison the well.
Cousin's temperament reminds me of a young Zach Randolph, before he went to Memphis. Randolph was known as a "problem child" despite his talent. Here's an example. I doubt anybody would mind a seasoned vet like Randolph playing with the kids right now, but I don't think the Lakers FO would have even considered him 10 years ago when we were rebuilding with Kobe. His reputation at the time wasn't very good. Ditto with MWP before he went to Houston. Talent is hard to come by in the NBA. Teams like the Blazers, Knicks, and Clippers are probably wondering to themselves why they didn't stick with Randolph despite his growing pains. I don't fault Sactown for wanting to hold onto Cousins for the same reason.
