He fools around and has fun enough to get rid of Boron's grit and foxhole stench he dumped on the whole team. He's got a great outgoing personality and that's good in a leader. When we are in the hunt for something I have no worries about DAR getting down to business.

Dear sirron ..... if you're in the mood tomorrow or next day, could you please send that link on the SB Nation DAR and Byron article to Jeanie and Jim and Magic and Boron and any of the other media types that you might think should read it?

Russell hits two triples, moves to 108, tying D.J. Augustin for 27th most by a rookie IN NBA HISTORY. Up next: Klay Thompson at 111.

This kid is gonna be so not good, but great. His confidence is through the roof right now. I love the chemistry that he, Julius, and JC are developing. His defense was terrific as well. He clearly flustered Watson and Payton.

Another outstanding game from DLO! Love the post up play. He reminds me a whole lot of a young Deron Williams. And that's a nice thing.

So, can a reporter...ANY reporter ask Byron why he waited so long to institute an offense that everyone was screaming for all season. Ask him why he thought his PnR pg was being g forced to play in a slow antiquated offense.

Great comparison. My favorite non-Laker from the past 10 years. Shoulda never left Utah.

I hope Russell can become a stud like Deron.

Well let's hope it's Utah Deron and not Brooklyn. He fell off a cliff after that trade. Prior to that he was right there with Chris Paul for being the best point guard in the game.

The way he's currently performing after 2/3 of a season which couldn't be more frustrating tells a lot about his determination ...

Hopefully this team will be 100% cancer free next season and he will be able to develop into a monster

Loved what I saw from him tonight. Running in the open court, taking it all the way to the hoop and finishing, taking the open threes he was given, some nice dishes, and some really good defense. That one sequence where he hounded Oladipo at then end of the 3rd until he forced the steal was great, and then on the other end he gave Bass a nice little pass under the hoop that led to a dunk. He looks very comfortable right now, directing traffic, ready to take over as a leader.
