i actually like lou quite a bit, but he's a bench guy. he's excelled in that role for years, and it helps hide that he doesn't really have a position.

but sure; let's start him and play the promising rookie < 30 mpg...so that we can win...

I watched it because I wanted to see Kobe/Duncan one last time.

D'Angelo has a tendency to start kind of slowly and that's what happened last night. Not a ton of aggression off the bat.

LOL that sounds just like something inconceiveably stupid Boron would do ...on top of everything else.

Oh wait!! For over 1/2 of the year.....when all's said and done.

I'm not sure how much I actually like him anymore. He left Toronto and they got better. He puts up nice stats...he always has, but I am starting to wonder if they are empty stats. The offense is not fluid with him on the floor. He is starting to feel like a black hole with slightly less gravitational pull than Kobe was in the beginning of the season. I mean, he is the sixth man of the year and his team happily lets him walk where we sign him for 7 million? I'm not sure if we got a good deal or if Lou is actually fools gold.

Regardless, this is the Russell thread and Russell should be starting over him.

His team said he didn't defend. I'm sure that is true. I'm also not blown away by his offensive impact.

I used to like Byron's face .... in a Lakers uniform. Now I just get pissed off every single time I see it.

Every time I'm tempted to post
I'm reminded of a commitment made one time
That until the glorious day that Byron's fired
All of my posts would rhyme.

    Burn in hell Byron
    Without fire trucks or siren
    Burn slow or burn fast
As long as you are a thing of the past

I can't believe Boron puts his confused and bad coaching thought processes out there for the whole world to see. :Headpoint: Make your stupid decision because it's a no brainer, and start him already.

Thinks he's coaching the Patriots or something. Just seems a fool.

WTF, what do we have to lose? I'd bring Lou in for DAR and Nick in for Clarkson (short minutes). Brown and sometimes Nance in for Kobe to play alongside Randle and ....YO Dumba** .... Boron .....put Black at the 5. Would those lineups freaking kill you to try? Hella lot better than the crap you have been coming up with. Mix Bass in too .... intelligently. Oh wait .... never mind. SMH.

Why is Russell starting again being dangled to us over time as some grand reward to look forward to? Why is B0ron almost appearing to make it seem like this was part of his master plan all along, to break the kid down, then build him back up, and then unleash him? What are we supposed to do with this info now, celebrate? Celebrate something that should have been happening all season long? It's complete nonsense. This isn't going to change our season, this isn't going to get us going into some playoff push lol. Russell should have started all season long because we're a team without a real PG and he's the closest thing already as a rookie, because he was the #2 overall pick and maybe the most important player to this franchise right now, because he deserved that time to develop, because we sucked anyway so why not, I could go on all day like this. He had a slow start, but so did pretty much everyone on this team thanks to B0ron, and he's genuinely one of our best players, we are better as a team when he's playing, despite off nights and rookie mistakes. I'm not going to applaud B0ron or something for doing something this simple he should have been doing for months. No coach has ever been able to make me this mad over the simplest little things.

Certainly good news. But should someone tell Scott that we only have 25 games left?
