How absolutely demoralizing it has to be for all these young guys, let's not forget Tarik Black, to read and hear spoken this same crap every day from this TROLL with no guidance, logic, communication on how each can even begin to get out of his own private hell. Other than you have to work HARDER.

Screw you Jim, screw you Jeanie!! Die Boron!!!

    Highlights:

    - He went into the season not expecting the playoffs.
    - He feels that the young guys are automatically not going to understand the NBA.
    - He feels like they're still growing.
    - It's understood that the next two and half months are his last ditch effort to keep the job.
    - If there's no increase in wins/performance he's out this summer.
    - His job is presumably safe until the end of the season (protect the pick).

Well great, it's all good for ole Boron then. He'll start trotting out better rotations, leave them in so they can play and grow and start winning some games. There's his proof his methods work and he's earned another year. And at the same time costs us our pick while making that happen, and guaranteeing no FA with a brain worth having will come here. The Perfect s*** Storm.

That's right. You are who you are. The worst coach in NBA history (and his record speaks for itself).

Stephen A on Max and Marcelus yesterday says Byron's out if Luke wants the job.

    Come on back, Luke!

Honestly, listening to Don MacLean infuriated me because it reminds me of how dumb Byron is. I can't believe that it isn't even the All Star break yet. I just want a few days where I don't have to hear news about this team, or to check my phone only to see that we lost AGAIN by 20+ pts. These past few years have been a trying time for everyone, but if they do the unimaginable and give him an extension of some degree, I can honestly say, after watching this years for 20+ years, I will take a break from basketball and the Lakers. I honestly cannot go through another season like this. The numbers prove it, we get worse and worse every season. I just want to fast forward to Kobe's last game and head into the summer. It hurts watching this team play KNOWING that an L is almost guaranteed. I love this team through and through, but to see it in the way that it is, it hurts. Maybe the Buss family needs to give this team up....

You, LA guys, should get off your lazy bums, and call. You have like 3 sports talk shows in LA, no? Why do you guys not flood them with
    calls?

Join Sirron in our viral effort to get Byron fired...

"Take Steph Curry," Scott said. "Four years ago, everybody was talking about, 'Did Golden State give him too much money? Is he injury-prone? Is he this and that?' Now he's the reigning MVP and arguably the best player in our league.

"It's not going to happen in a year so I don't understand why people get so carried away over it. D-Russ is going to be a good player. Does he have to learn? Absolutely. Do I have to push him? Absolutely. Same thing with Julius. And I understand that and I'm willing to do that."

So, pushing them is fine, but how about doing it privately and not publicly condoning them in front of the media ever single time you get a chance? What about giving them a certain level of expectations and finding a way that too communicate with them in a way that they can understand, process the information, and learn and be able to apply it on the court. Byron is so absolutely dense.

    From Don Maclean

On what he sees in the Lakers:
“A team that plays with no enthusiasm, no spirit. … When you watch the Lakers play, first of all I’m watching archaic schemes, and it looks like a team that’s playing in 1998, walking it up, isos (isolation plays), no imagination, no creativity on the offensive end. The only thing the Lakers have is athleticism, and they walk it up every single time.

On the Lakers in general: “Is that roster supposed to be 9-41? No. The Sixers are supposed to be 7-41 with that roster. So, when I watch the Lakers, am I watching a team that’s playing their (butts) off? That’s playing with spirit and enthusiasm, but they just don’t have enough to win? No. I’m watching an undermanned team that has no clue. That’s what I’m watching and I saw it Friday night. And I haven’t seen one person go on record, either in the media or in print, whatever, and say that Byron’s doing a fantastic job (and) they just don’t have the players to win.”

    Sums up our coach.

You don't have to be in LA to call. There are live streams of ESPN and am 570. The numbers are toll free. The shows just don't take many calls. They're mostly about the hosts. It isn't "hot take" radio.

Was just thinking back to Jim's colossal blunder in not bringing Phil back nearly 4 years ago, and with a future spot in the front office, with Jim's self awareness of his own weaknesses. When he had the chance to rectify his first epic blunder with Mike Brown. OMG look where we are now because of that.

Who knows, Phil got championships out of Shaq and Kobe while they were hating each other, maybe he could have gotten Howard to buy in and even not leave for the chance of championships and modify his mindset and behavior. Kobe likely not popping his achilles because of all the over work. Phil vetting his coaching replacement and being in the FO to support him, like NY, and lending respectability again TO our front office. But NOOOOOOO Jeanie's brother couldn't stand the thought of him back again. What a colossal blunder that ruined this franchise. And now he sits and watches the smoke rise from the ashes hoping for another lotto pick, while Boron the A-hole ruins the lotto picks we already have and additional talent Mitch like a good soldier brings in each year.

Even if it meant being saddled with the Triangle vs the modern game. The Triangle had many looks when it was cooking. FA's would have still come to the franchise to fill out that powerful core.

Well, do it then. Doesn't need to be a sports show. Walmart Radio (is that a thing?) is fine.

I am abroad, so it's much harder for me... :):)

It's really not that simple. You call and can wait on the line for hours while they talk about stuff. They don't often go to their sound board and when they do there's a long line to get on the air.

I'm not willing to wait that long. It's easier to just tweet at them.

He probably loves b0ron as much as Kobe and the "old guys" though. We need some "euro fans" in Staples ;).
