Our defense is last in the league, and our offense is 2ne to last, yet B0ron has been put in a position to take one for the team. I'm, no, his teams have been in the bottom on defense for years now, and IMO many respectable coaches could get better results than that out of this roster. Also, Russ has not found "stability" so he was benched for Lou? Sure, ok that's what happened, despite Lou having a big scoring slump for a while there, which I wouldn't call finding stability, yet he kept the job. People who write these things clearly don't WATCH the Lakers.

Remember when Byron said that the young guys were benched because he was "trying to win"? I think he meant win the draft lottery. Genius unbound!

First B0ron is asked what he thinks of the chemistry between Russ and JC and how they are working together, in what I thought was a question set up for a positive answer. But no, he says they have a lot of work to do, especially defensively, not a single kind word. Then they go to Worthy and Twan and they do nothing but stick up for and defend B0ron. "He's a great coach, he's a great guy, X's and O's, watching film, teaching, he does it all" said Twan. They both feel sorry for him because he has a young team and they don't know how to play the game yet. I'm eating right now and I wanted to puke.

I'm starting to wonder that myself.

So many people seem to be willing to give Byron a pass because of such a young and inexperienced roster.

There are plenty of reasons to complain about Byron, but to me the handling of Tarik Black is at or near the top of the list. Russell and JC both are at their best in the pick and roll, and right now Black is the best roll man on the team. He has plenty of issues and is far from perfect, but he just fits what the guards need right now so well. It may take Bass and/or Hibbert being moved at the deadline to get the minutes Black needs.

Russell just said, "Coach loses confidence in you if you turn the ball over." Glad our players are playing scared. The way he said it definitely spoke more of his annoyance with s---head than a real belief the coach actually loses confidence in him.

    I mean he had 3. 3.

I'm ashamed to have even been motivated to make this, and then had a need to improve on it to make it (Better?). Needed to share my depravity and deep dislike for all things Byron apparently...

“You try to figure out what didn’t he do and what did he do in this case that was so wrong that he got fired,” Scott said before the Lakers played San Antonio at Staples Center. “You shake your head and just wonder. I definitely feel bad for him, and my prayers are out to him and to his family.”

Scott’s coaching stops in New Jersey (2000-03), New Orleans (2004-09) and Cleveland (2010-13) all ended in firings.

“I evaluate myself and wake up every morning and try to do the best I can. I still believe great players make great coaches,” Scott said. “Those players have to be willing to buy into your beliefs.”

The Lakers have the worst record in the Western Conference, but Scott is expected to coach through the rest of the 2015-16 season. The Lakers have been sympathetic with the challenges Scott faces in coaching an inexperienced roster and managing Kobe Bryant’s workload amid fluctuating health in his 20th and final NBA season. The Lakers plan to evaluate Scott once the season ends.

Byron should sit down with some impartial observers and get some new info. Then he should make changes.

You should be ashamed. But then the title of a movie comes to mind. "Extreme Measures". As well as the age old saying, "All's fair in love and war and hate of what Byron Scott is doing to the Lakers".
