The death of the NBA big men continues... It's even more perplexing when Kawhi barely beat out Zaza Pachulia. That's gotta be one fun matchup to see, wonder what te benches will look like.
Players are separated in 2 categories : all PG and SG in backcourt , the others 3 positions in frontcourt so you can vote for 3 SFs
Come on ..... cut Kobe at least a little slack in this his final season and the public wanting him in for his last All Star game. You could say the same any season with who it should have been. He'll be gone soon enough and then you can be happy.
Kobe definitely deserves it. It's his final season. He's earned it and he's played a lot better anyway the last two months. I didn't think he did early on because he was playing so poorly and hurting the team, but his shooting percentage has gone up five since that ugly start. Still not great, but he has trended upward and Magic got to start in his Final All Star game so should Kobe. Fans still screwed up though. I would've done it like this. Steph, , CP3, Kobe, Leonard, Green. Lowry, Butler, George, LeBron, Drummond.
LOL at true big men no longer getting any respect in the NBA. Guess because there are so few good ones.
garbage. 2 gaurds and 3 small forwards? Small forwards nowadays are just big guards anyway, so it's 5 guards vs 5 guards. Wack.
I care that there's no Centers left, not that there's no Center spot. I don't think Zaza freaking Pachulia deserves an All-Star game over a guy like Durant or Leonard or Draymond Green. I hate that there's no Shaqs, no Hakeems, not even a Ewing. We're left with Brook Lopez as the last 7 footer who knows a post move. As much as I like Andre Drummond, he is NOT a skilled player. There's no skill anymore.
What the hell? I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I was seeing only guards and SF's. I mean the West lineup is awesome (I'd Kobe were 5 years younger), but still, huh? The East, what the hell is Wade doing there? I'm guessing the coaches picking the benches are going to be selecting a LOT of PF's to balance this out, and Cousins has to be there at C right? I guess Durant and LeBron are the Centers in the starting lineups, Leonard and Melo are the PF's.
