ESPN is now doing a Top 100. They just released numbers 100 - 91. Kemp is 100. Love and Harden made the list. Ugh.
Those lists are good for debating and driving traffic, and they probably don't care about being all that accurate. I'm surprised they are in a rush to put as many current players on their list without adequate longevity, but I suppose that ropes in the younger crowd that has no reference point in historical players. Imagine these lists 100 years from now... They will only continue to get more inaccurate IMHO
harden and love in the top 100? really? why not throw gilbert arenas and Antonio davis on there? moreover, Houston will then have two of the top 100 players in the history of the nba on their sixth place roster. I guess the other 13 guys must be the worst players ever to walk the earth? how drunk and/or stupid are these people?
Love and Harden in the top 100 players of all time? Um, no. Also the PG list is a joke and disrespectful to some all time greats.
So easy to predict : - Lebron will be ranked higher than he should and will be above Kobe - KAJ will be disrespected as he won't make the top 3
I know people will laugh, but prime arenas >> current harden. if harden wrecks a knee, he'll go the same way.
They're about the same to me. Both inefficient scorers who never played a lick of defense and were never true #1 options.
When the Hibachi was cookin'...defenders were being eaten. I remember one game at Staples where Arenas went off for 40+...
You know what I noticed about their positional top 10 list? Theres a Laker (and C bag) at every position.
PG: One Lakers lifer and one who played for LA in later years. SG: One Lakers lifer. SF: One Lakers lifer. PF: One prime Laker, two who joined later in their career. C: Four who played serious amounts of time for the Lakers.
