Who cares seriously? You have no issue with him wasting a year of development for the young core? How is he doing us a favor by singling out the young guys and only picking on them instead of getting on vets for the same mistakes?

I didn't see a big problem with Randle's play in the 4th last night. Some defensive lapses, sure, but the whole team had them. Then when the run by Phoenix was getting serious he got us 2 offensive boards which led to a Bass score and foul. I'd have been pissed if I was pulled like he was too. If you want to point to a main problem with the lineup that cost us the huge lead in the 4th I'll give you a hint, he comes from Brazil. Every time that dude comes in the game he bricks threes, throws the ball away, the offense stagnates, and the other team gets fast break points because he can't keep up with NBA players on D. If Kobe misses any extended period of time this season, Huertas needs to released and we need to bring in a real backup guard.
Clarkson can play PG, that is clear, he was dishing some sweet assists last game, but he's a starter. If Kobe is healthy, Russ and JC should be starting next to him, and that leaves Lou as the backup PG, which he's not. We need a real one. If Kobe isn't healthy that means Lou or Russ has to start too, and for some reason B0ron can't seem how to figure out how to even split minutes between them. It's not like if Lou is gonna start at SG with Clarkson that Young can't play SG alongside Russ. We still do have Metta as a backup 3. My point is I guess, Huertas should never play. Ever. Not even when we're up 30 points apparently.
I'd still like to know .... did someone (Randle?) call someone an a-hole after the blowup during the Phoenix game? Doc alluded to it right before saying Russell has been talking in the press too now (about the "system" and debunking Boron's statement they played scared against OKC a couple weeks ago).
Randle was pulled from a game and before he sat down on the bench it looked like he may have mouthed a-hole Byrons way.
LOL.... well he is an a-hole. Front office should be happy they have an astute, smart kid in Randle in addition to the fact he could become a star in the league with a quality head coach and staff. Anyone think Byron will DNP him tonight? I don't think he has the balls or even he is not that stupid. This city hasn't had a good Lakers conflict story in years. Press and every other basketball mind in the world on line will know HE created the problem. This s*** should never have happened. At what point is it fair game for a high, star quality capable draft pick's agent (who is it?) to give Mitch a call and ask what the heck is going on? But again, I chalk it up to immaturity and just being inexperienced at this level because it’s going to happen again. I’m going to take him out of other games that he’s not going to like.” Scott singled Randle out for playing poor defense in the Lakers’ 97-77 rout of the Suns, the Lakers’ third straight win. Damn right, Julius, stand up for yourself. He was going hard after boards, he had a couple nice dishes, one to an open Bass at the hoop after going up and faking the shot himself, and like he said, he barely shot. He wasn't being selfish, he had an off night offensively maybe (can't say he wouldn't have improved with more shots), and at worst he had a few defensive lapses. Doesn't deserve to be called out publicly by name by our idiot coach.
