His shooting comes and goes, from solid percentages, to awful ones. I'd like to think it's a rookie thing, and also that maybe once he takes his legs from twigs to normal NBA player size that will help as well.

What do you think about Byron's comments about Julius?

Russell's shooting is probably fine. Hell, Durant averaged 39.7 fg% through his first 35 games. Russell is at 39.4%. And we've seen that Russ will take and make big shots. He just needs more and more experience (ahem Byron).

Huertas starting with Lou and Clarkson to the bench or some nonsense. I hope Kobe is playing...

Interesting how you can easily apply Scott's own words and criticism of Julius on himself with just a little alteration:

He's got to grow up, he's the coach FFS. I think the main thing I don't like is, when he takes a guy like Julius out of a game, how he acts in front of the press, insulting his player because he obviously can't handle a 21 year old in the locker room. But again, I chalk it up to immaturity and just being inexperienced at a successful level of coaching because it's going to happen again. He's going to take the young guys out of other games and then insult them in the media.

f*** me! Not a whole lot to look forward to these days with Boron's handling of the lineups. Come on DAR, man up! You think Kobe would have let a sore throat sideline him when he was a young buck like you? Hell, him and MJ playing when sick as dogs with the flu and performing at a high level..... back in the day. Barefoot. And they liked it! :Magic Brows:

Not that it matters because we aren't playing for anything and will lose anyway to GS, but a sore throat? MJ and Kobe need to talk to him about playing through some real s*** (flu game or any one of Kobe's physical ailments/injuries).

I'm sure this won't sit well with Scott who thinks everyone should man up to play this game that he's going to get embarrassingly outcoached in by a substitute coach (who'll hopefully steal his job).
