Nope. Okafor underwhelms me. He may put up his numbers but his impact is minimal because he so suspect in pretty much every other area. He's Al Jefferson.

ugly game from Russell overall. his first stint was particularly frightful, and I'm a bit surprised Byron even gave him more burn after his lackadaisical play on both ends.

gotta say, his talent is definitely there, but I'm not liking his approach to the game so far. maybe it's just being 19 (which is easy to forget), but there's some entitlement and lack of intensity there.

How is he playing entitled? I don't understand that one. He's not out there acting like he's supposed to dominant every night or anything like that. Is he making mistakes? Sure, but what rookie doesn't? Stu said it best just because the kid was #2 overall doesn't mean it's realistic to never expect mistakes.

doesn't always hustle, period. it's obvious. there was a sequence in the first half last night where he closed out soft and slow on stauskas in the corner, then watched somebody grab an offensive board. two really poor efforts in about 1.5 seconds. I was shocked he wasn't yanked immediately. that's playing like you're entitled to minutes, imo. you didn't see tj McConnell doing that. nor do I think you would ever.

Sounds like Scott's trademark in all the youth he has developed over the course of his coaching stints since the Cleveland days.

It doesn't make Russell blameless, though, and I understand what you're saying.

Randle is guilty of the same stuff. That's partly why I understood the benching. However, I've also seen the two of them play with tremendous focus, but they're not praised/rewarded for it so the effort fades away.

D Russell, what do you think of Byron's Coaching compared to coaching you've received in High School and College?

Of course!! That explains it!! Why else would Boron make the announcement?? To continue to f*** with all of them no matter how hard they work, how hard they try to get better and all in spite of NO communication from his sorry a**. I'm talking about just now coming in here and reading that Dips*** Scott is now thinking about starting Russell again. But would move Clarkson to the bench to accommodate that. It's what he does!!

Not a good game from him tonight. Although it was weird seeing Huertas with him in the 4th

    Completely disagree.

Moreover, there were, to my vague recollection, multiple studies that showed that there is no direct correlation between size of the compensation and willingness to accept hostile working environment.

There is a difference to accept a risk - much like northern lumberjacks accept being squished by a tree a risk that is compensated for, and being treated like crap, with money being the legitimization to do so.

In short - Byron treats you like crap, DAR? Shut up, collect paycheck and play.

    Nope. Doesn't work that way.
