At least Horry is questioning why Byron put Kobe back in

I don't even know how Byron can crack a smile on his face with the team in this state. Despicable.

I really am at a loss for words. Basically 40 minutes for Lou Williams. 32 for Kobe when he's clearly not healthy. Randle was the best player on the court and played under 20. Russell was the second best player and played only 23. Why the hell is Lou initating the offense? That should be D'Angelo all day. This is literally the exact opposite of how to develop these kids. Playing them under 24 minutes a game. Putting them on the floor with first level chuckers like Williams, Young, and Bryant. I honestly don't know how much of this more I can take.

Missed the game, got it spoiled for me.

Can someone please explain to me why Julius Randle only played 19 minutes? Russell only 23?

After seeing Kobe go in after having his shoulder in a bag of ice (typically not something you do right before exercising), I am really, REALLY starting to believe that Byron reads the tweets and comments about him, he knows he's going to get fired and now he is trolling all the fans to get back at them for calling him out. I can't imagine anyone who actually played professional basketball can be this clueless. Sure, not every good player can be a good coach, but at this point he is doing things that defy logic. My 70 year old mother would know better than to put someone through strenuous exercise right after being iced down.

It's impossible to understand. That's why the only explanation is that he's losing on purpose. It's either that or he's bat you know what crazy. Or the biggest imbecile in all of sports history. It's actually incredibly difficult to tell which it is. That's sad.

Pretty sure he pulled the Mike Brown coaching for his job move. Only it was a winnable game so he went with his vets, even if it meant unwrapping Kobe. Just a hunch, but I bet the FO has him on a win meter and if he doesn't get X number of wins he won't be coming back and maybe let go by the All-Star break where Kobe's last ASG could cover up some of the stink of the firing.

He was trying to win the game. Everywhere he goes he picks 1 player (usually the star) and rides them; in Jersey it was Kidd, in NO it was Paul, in Cleveland it was Kyrie, in Los Angeles it's Kobe. He's trying to ride a 37 year old fading superstar as if he's 27. It's completely depressing as a fan. Our young core should have finished tonight's game. I'm at a loss for words. He's made watching my beloved Lakers very, very, difficult. Nothing would bring more joy too me than getting rid of this man; not only can I can't stand the coach, I'll fully admit, I don't like the person. I'm done with him.
