The Warriors are in the 20s now. They are playing loose and confident. It's like they are still figuring out how much better they can be. Curry is playing out of his mind. Is the Lakers' 33 game streak in jeopardy? Even when the Heat had their run in the 20s a few years ago I knew there was no way they could reach 33. Now, I'm not so sure the Warriors won't get there. What say you?
Yeah they definitely can. I'm not sure they will because it takes a heck of a lot of good things to make that happen, but they've got that kind of talent I think.
No, I don't think they will. They're at 22, 33 is a long way off. They might even lose to Indy tonight. I don't care if they do, in fact it might even be pretty cool to see, but it seems so hard to me, they have to lose sometime soon if only once. I do think if they finish out this road trip unbeaten that their chances of getting there go up though.
Can they? Probably. Will they? No, I don't think so. I say this because something like a minor injury could start to derail them. Harrison Barnes went down with an ankle I think. They have still been winning but not as dominantly as early in the season. There have already been quite a few competitive games recently and it's only a matter of time before luck runs out or another team gets hot.
10 more games? Maybe but probably not. They aren't dominating teams like they did early in the season, the more recent games have been competitive and all it takes is a couple bad bounces and good bounces for the other team.
Lakers were one OT game in the Finals and 1 regular season defeat from beating the 33 streak. In 01 the Lakers won their final 8 regular season games. Went 15-1 in the playoffs, and then went 15 - 1 to start 2002. 38 - 2 (playoffs and Finals) vs 33-0. As for the Warriors, they can, but I think the odds are still against them.
I think it's possible but they're only 2/3 of the way there. It's a long way to go. I don't think they'll get there. That said, I'm really enjoying the ride and watch them whenever I can.
They have a great shot at it. Who knows, 11 more games is still a way to go though. I'm actually rooting for them to break it. I know it sounds weird coming from a Laker fan but that record doesn't mean much to me. I hope they break the bull's 72-10 record as well.
They are destroying Indy right now. Splash bros are splashin'! Klay has 17 and Curry 13 and it's the first quarter!!
29 points for Klay in the first half. Oh yeah, and 79 to 60. GSW on pace for 158 points tonight. Just insane.
They are playing fantastic, and hope they are playing this way and healthy at the end of the year. Can't be having the Kang with another chip. He needs a losing record in the finals that no one can rival lol.
Klay exploded for 39 points.... and then left the game with an ankle injury. Didn't look bad but he looked to be in pain. First Barnes and now Klay.
