Yeah, but if Byron played Nick the last 2 games he wouldn't have been able to squeeze Kobe for a full 35 minutes.

I'm tempted to join Twitter just to send a tweet to Swaggy to let him know Laker fans are in his corner. And that we all hope he is a Laker longer than Byron is.

I'm glad somebody on the team showed some fight. Sure, smacking somebody is the wrong way to do it, but it's good to see that somebody on this team does care.

Way to fabricate a problem, Byron.

Yeah, having B0ron on this team for the season is no problem, no bad habits will be picked up or horrible team chemistry brew and then rot and turn to poison. No long term damage done, he's helping the tank, who cares. FML.

I hope everyone realizes this. It's one thing to have one of the worst records in the NBA. It's another to talk about "earning it" and "grit." It's another to kowtow to one of the all-time greats in a kind of last hurrah. It's another to say stupid s*** to the media. It's an absolutely different thing to alienate the fans, the team, stunt the growth of the young guys, and make the vets not want any part of this team. This season is not a step in the rebuilding process; it's a step backwards. We are terrible, and all of our players are becoming worse basketball players at the present. Take it from a Raiders (and Phillies) fan: once you become losers, it's hard to shake it.

Nick is not a problem child; he's been around this league and been on losing teams. For him to get this frustrated puts the state of this team into perspective. Sitting one of your top players is brilliant strategy. Scott, as trodgers said, has literally created a problem where one did not exist before. He is costing us more than a decent season, our youth are playing through coaching incompetence at it's finest.

The one thing this team had going for them, despite all the problems, the locker room was together. Now Byron has created a problem from nothing and this is how you start losing your team. Fingers crossed something happens after this road trip.

Why do the fans get this and not anyone associated with the Lakers? Waiting for Pincus to tweet his defense of Byron saying he's good for the tank and keeping that 50% odds or whatever it is for the top 3 picks. As long as we get that 50% odds, who cares how much he tears the current team down. This team is really circling the toilet bowl right now.

Top 3 is mostly garbage; it's a one-horse race, and we can't have better than a 25% chance of keeping that pick (#1).

Way to back your player once again Byron. Not even anything neutral like, "I'll have to look at the replay", just throw your dude under the bus as an overreacting lucky to get off the bench player who balled all Summer to do what you want and still gets treated like your whipping boy kind of guy.

Why can I end any post under any topic with...

    "Byron you suck" ????
