Fundamentally sound, athletic, good attitude.. Love to see his minutes rise dramatically. Nice having so many good young players.

He must get more PT period, great energy, hustle, defense, and now looking like his shot is coming around as well.Paired with the rejuvenated MWP they have brought the team back from deficits every game on this road trip.I don't care if he starts or not but he needs 20 + min coach!

He doesn't resemble Mark Madsen at all, other than being white and the hustle. Mark madsen was a true power forward, unathletic, hustle type. Nance is a PF/SF tweener, with much better shooting ability, supremely athletic, with better ball handling (though still subpar for a true sf).

I agree with Abeer in that his best position would likely be sf but then he has to become a knockdown 3 pt shooter, and improve his ball handling which is basically just straight line right now.

I dunno I just saw some similarities to Madsen's game is all. Didn't say he was a clone. He D's up guys with his hand up and knees bent like Madsen, completely with spazzy movements. He crashes the offensive boards and constantly hustles, both things I remember Madsen doing. As for the "much better shooting ability", the guy couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat a few weeks ago, and his form is ugly (and if I remember right, Madsen's was similar), let's not go nuts. I don't think he's a much better ballhandler either. Unathletic, I'll give you, but still, he wasn't that much, just look at this play :Magic Brows:

Nance had a good game. Lots of energy. Took good shots. Rebounded the ball well. I didn't like this pick on draft night but he has made a believer out of me.

Yeah I mean I love what I'm seeing. To me what he's doing is things he can continue doing the rest of his career. Playing within himself, not getting out of character, using his athleticism on both sides of the ball, finishing at the basket, knocking in a jumper or two, and just his overall energy level is amazing.

He's been playing great for us. I have to admit that I'm surprised at how good he's been. Good stuff! Keep it up Junior!

Definitely a weird pick on draft night when at that point most were saying Anthony Brown. Man were we wrong.

I love what Larry Nance does on the court. His athleticism is elite, sure, but after that it's all about hard work. He sets a tone just as much as someone like World Peace does defensively. Come in, work hard, and make the right plays. Our team works better when he's on the floor. Just a great job out of this kid.

And shout out to the front office for not only seeing him and identifying him as a viable NBA player, but having the guts to go get him in the 1st even though it was an unexpected move.

He's looking more comfortable every game, he's quickly learning the NBA game out there. I think it was Worthy who said there's a big difference between a 4 year college player and a 4 month college player, he's ready to contribute now.

I don't want Nance to be hurt obviously but maybe this will force Byron to play Bass at the 4 and let Black get some time at the 5.

This means all lineups will get more creative, and of course, Kobe will need to stay at 35+ minutes s game. Byron has no other choice.
