Well, duh! It's because Clarkson got us back into the game, is our most efficient player, and he is young. These are all big red flags for Byron. If Clarkson would simply start shooting 28%, miss a couple 34 footers with 18 seconds left in the shotclock, and maybe work on pump faking 3-4 times before every shot like crafty veterans do, he could be trusted to close out games.

Run out of gas = Coach failure, there is no way around that, pure and simple. Ever heard Pop use that excuse Boron? Wasn't the problem in the first place. A complete comparison of idiocy:

Who is coaching their old guys right? Last 2 games:

    Kobe averages:
    35.5 minutes 37 year old with a per of 10.0 a .300 FG%, .220 on 3s, takes 20% of the teams shots.

    Tim Duncan averages: 20 minutes a game, a 39 year old with a per of 20.0, .588 FG% 10 rebs, 3 assists, 1 steal, 2 back to back wins. Normal s***.

Very possibly Tim's last year as well so.....excuses?

The nameless one needs to be know for something. If he can't be a great coach why not be known for the being the worst coach in the history of sports. I am starting to come around to his genius finally. He likely spends hours at night looking in the mirror with his arms folded making faces at himself. Looking that foolish and clueless does not come naturally or easy.

Sigh.. I never thought someone like Byron could turn my stomach just by hearing their name or seeing them for a split second. I can't even believe it's same player I use to root for as a little kid.. it's harder to watch than Kobe being old and sucking honestly..

Seriously? Just because he made those comments? This will only make players afraid to speak up fearing they'll get benched.

Wow. Nick has made me eat crow this year. He's worked hard, he's playing well, and you can argue he's been our best SF this season.

Byron, man, just absolutely does some mind boogingly things at times...

I didn't think a coach can be so stupid. Well, there you go.

If I am Nick - I am requesting a trade as we speak.

Then proceed to pimpslap Boron in social media for the eternity.

I really don't think you can argue that with any sane person who knows basketball because it goes like this:

Assertion: Nick Young is the Lakers' best small forward.
    Retort: Yes he is.
Assertion: Nick Young is better than Kobe Bryant this year.
Retort: By a significant margin actually.
Assertion: Nick Young has been better than Metta World Peace.
Retort: Considerably better for the most part.

    *end of discussion*

Not much of an argument really. Could you argue that Nick has been our best small forward with someone who tattooed Kobe's face on their right butt cheek? Yes, you could. But why would you try to have a meaningful discussion with a grown man that has the face of another grown man drawn on his skin?

So he played Nick after all. I'm not mad at the result (Nick playing), but it's just further proof that Byron has no idea what he's doing...despite the words that come out of his mouth.

What a disgrace. Disgrace to the Lakers, disgrace to the NBA, disgrace to the game of basketball.
