Nothing at all indeed. He still had freakin lou in there to close the 4th instead of Russ.

Russ should've been there alongside JC and Julius and experience how Kobe did it for 20 years winning games like that. Cuz you know... chemistry, player devolopment & first hand experience and all that... right Byron?

Live and die by Kobe, as Byron said. I just hope tonight isn't fool's gold.

OOOOOH, SNAP! Lol, seriously though, we won despite his lineups, and benching Russ for no reason.

One thing I really noticed was a much greater reliance on the pick and roll instead of JUST running quasi-Princeton sets for 20 seconds. It looked sooooo much better.

The day we fire Boron, will be my best Lakers memory (right with getting Kobe, Shaq and Pau). I always thought my Smush hate was a bit overboard... little did i know. Boron helped me find much greater levels of pure hate. I would punch that dude in the mouth if i saw him, real talk. Jah style:rock:

Just read that Boron's contract is only guaranteed through next year. Not as heavy a hit for firing as I thought. Question is, will JIm be just as bad choosing a successor as he has been so far. Supposedly the coach decisions have been his call.

Hibbert should be finishing games just for defensive purposes.

If he makes a play for Walton and he signs on...it would make up for all those screw-ups.

Wow, Luke is now that much of a guarantee @ head coach with this group? I'd take him over Boron too but this makes it sound like he's the brass ring. Don't get me wrong I like Luke and the idea is interesting but he is unproven with a squad like ours.

Not a guarantee in any sense...but Walton seems to be more in touch with players and the current times. We have to start with a fresh candidate not a retread. Every coach out there starts or have started out unproven.
