^ word. where the hell has that aggression been? maybe he needs to get dunked on some more on the other end?

I absolutely HATE the way Russell has opened games and halves. but at this point, I'm pretty convinced that's on Byron. his frequent lethargy on d isn't on Byron, but his passive offense is.

I mean losing to the Sixers ... if we can't fire Scott now and bring in someone who lets this kid play man I don't know what else will.

He had a lot of good passes today, but man does he need to nail that little 15 footer he always gets, its been short a lot.

Yeah he missed some he should have hit. He and Clarkson tried to get us back in the game though.

I don't know. I'm just at a real loss right now. We are so bad a team it's just unreal.

his jumper hasn't been as advertised. I'm still hopeful because it looks good--he's generally on balance, gets good arch and decent rotation (this could be better), and doesn't miss left or right very often. mostly good signs for the future. but I'd like to see a few more go down as the season wears on. hard to believe he's a 30% shooter from three.

Finally saw some of that awesome court vision tonight.

And I never knew he could dunk!

He's not built to take a lot of those chances in the "trees" yet. Legs look like twigs out there. I'd rather him pick his moments and stay healthy this year. Hopefully he's much stronger next season. Clarkson's playing with enough contact for both of them right now.

I thought Russell had a lot of good passes tonight. He probably should have been credited with a bunch more assists tonight but teammates weren't hitting shots.

I hope he can go through this season without being disgusted by the game of B-ball

Good luck to him , JC and Randle

Agreed. All they have to do is get through this season though. B0ron will be gone, Kobe will be gone, it will be their team, and hopefully a competent coach will be brought in to play to their strengths.

Some nice passes. Wish he played with more heart and tenacity though.

Oh stop it. He played fine. He was one of a handful of players who still cared and were trying to win down the stretch.

Kobe is a black hole and Byron doesn't know what he is doing, period. Those are the issues with this team. The young guys are doing the best they can but their leaders are failing them.

I thought Russell played a great game mostly. He's going to be really good in a year or two.

i don't understand the "lack of heart" comments. he's just calm and reserved out there. I saw him fighting even in the last 2 minutes when the game was out of reach and Kobe couldn't dribble a basketball. i'd rather have a guy that seems too nonchalant than getting anxious and spazzing out.
