We're at a little more than a coinflip's chance at keeping our top 3 pick atm. So if this an intentional tank by the FO and Byron, it could lead to disaster pretty easily.

It's a ridiculous gamble to me, but I still don't think it's an intentional tank from B0ron, he just sucks. The FO, well now I'm starting to wonder. We go into every game as fans knowing what will happen. We get down double digits in the first quarter, fight to hang around, and if we get close, the coach will screw it up with bad substitutions. If we get ahead, the coach will also screw it up with bad substitutions.

Again, I don't think they are intentionally tanking nor do I want them to. I wanted them to at least try to win half their games even though I thought we'd fall well short of that. But Byron is just atrocious and what I was saying about the FO holds true in my opinion - they are ok with the losing. Otherwise they'd do something. When Byron trots out Bass at back up Center every game you already know what's going to happen just like Weezy said. When Kobe is allowed to chuck 20 shots a game when he's shooting 30% on the year, you already know what's going to happen. Basically the FO seems fine with the idiotic lineups and losing as long as they cash in on the Kobe farewell tour and have a modicum of development for the young guys. Silver lining is that have a chance to keep the pick. I just hope they don't reward Byron with another year here. I want him gone next season.

The end result is about wins and losses. You put together a roster that was designed to get you to about 32 wins and now you're on pace for 12. I've had to change my expectations about wins/losses and just focus on the development of the young core. Byron never was the long-term solution. We just have endure another long season, but at least, we have Jules, Clarkson, and Randle to keep us entertained.

He's going to be sitting us with us regardless if he likes it or not.

As like the past two seasons, we don't need to intentionally tank, the competition is better and we just suck.

Who the hell is Jules? I agree though. This season has been pure torture, but at least we aren't stuck in no man's land with no hope for the future.

I think he meant you repeated that player. You forgot Russell.

I don't think we should intentionally tank, but it's hard to see what our endgame is at this point. I honestly think the FO had zero intents of tanking at the start of the season. Now?

After seeing corpse-Kobe, Byron's disaster system and rotations, and the invincibility of the Warriors I think they may have given up on the season.

I think they think Byron is enough of a hard-a** to at least motivate them to work on their games and bodies. He won't teach them much in terms of learning an offense or defense, but the pure anger he causes them might be enough to get them into the gym working and expanding. The rest of this season is and should be a free-for-all for the young guns to get a feel for the league.

I hate you even more now somehow Byron. Kobe deserves a better send off than a tank season! He and the guys have way more potential than you've harnessed. What a bum!

Now that it's official, watch this clown run him to the ground and cut the farewell tour short.

Abe Lincoln quote, "if u call a goat's tail a leg how many legs does it have? Four, u can call a tail a leg all u want but it is still a tail." You can call the nameless one a coach all u want but he is still not a coach.

Couple things that I notice Mitch said, and I could be over analyzing. Either way, when speaking about Kobe, Mitch said he was struggling with the tempo and place of play; he said if the team was at a more advanced age, and Kobe was in a 'different system,' he might have been more motivated if he was contending and he didn't have to work as hard.

Also, said he thought the team would be better than 2 wins. He didn't think they'd be on pace for 50 or 60 wins, but he felt the team would be improved with the additions of the veterans they added in the off-season.

Different system and Mitch thinks we'd be better than we currently are...I think Byron's days are numbered.
