did you guys see the new nike commercial with the entire city of Cleveland hugging and James doing some crappy motivational speach how it's all about the city? Like a fricken Greek hero in a class C movie. This is just pathetic... I'm happy they lost in the biggest sports event of all times. I hope the Bulls destroy them as well
Of course it's not enough help for LeBron. Irving is only a two-time all-star, Kevin Love has only three, and two appearances on the all-nba 2nd team. A King is only as good as his subjects.
Just heard what he said in the huddle : " this is one the biggest moments in sports history and we are part of it " ...
Cowherd was in full LeBron protection mode today. Example: "He's had like 3 bad games his entire career, but he's awesome."
He looked like skinny garbage out there. Some undrafted rookie from UCLA was defending him decently... Yikes. Someone get that guy a steroid injection.
It was hilarious watching LeBron flex his bicep after that one play. I thought the concept was to actually have a muscle if you're going to flex.
Not hoping for it but I think this is the year he actually gets a major injury. He's looking fragile this season. He spoils us with his play.
I think it was Kellerman on the radio yesterday let a Freudian slip last with LeBron and steroids and he quickly backtracked and said repeatedly that he wasn't trying to imply anything with that statement. I wonder how much ESPN is pressuring their employees not to say anything about his steroid use? No one will even suggest it without backing off immediately... strange...
Yeah I heard that segment. Max is pretty smart and it's pretty obvious to anyone with eyes that LeBron was doing more than eating too many carbs up until this season.
When it finally drops that steroids is a huge part of NBA basketball, I wonder how the media handles it. Their king is one of the most obvious candidates. Do they try to downplay it? Do they crush him? Do they try to brush it under the rug?
Lebron definitely looks less explosive. He's either got to learn to adapt or get back on the stuff or his dominance will diminish.
You know I have been wondering if the league let it slip to the players association that they were going to start checking for roids in the next year or so. It strikes me odd that Lebron went this route all of a sudden out of the blue. He only recently, like the last 2 seasons really, started having a post game and abusing guys on the block. The main staple to his game has been to be able to get the corner on guys and use his body as he attacks the rim. Right now Kevin Love looks bigger than him. I wouldn't be surprised if the nba did a little damage control and let it slip so that some of the big names would be able to not get caught.
Absolutely. There were some reports that the NBA is going to crack down on PED testing this season and LeBron and Carmelo slim down immediately. Strange, no? Especially LeBron man I mean he doesn't even look like the same guy on the court. The only two that I see that look like they're clearly still juicing are Wade and Howard. I hope they get busted and blow this thing wide open. It'd be pretty fun.
I will always hate LeBron for the sole reason that the media rides him like there's no tomorrow. They make excuse after excuse for him yet when Kobe does the same he gets trashed on.
