A lot of Western teams are under-performing, will it eventually even out? Who knows but a team looking to make the playoffs could start their sneak attack right now. (Once upon a time that was what we were hoping for, and the easy schedule would have been a huge player in this).

Teams are hit by injuries except for the Grizz .

Squads with the best team system , good depth and few injuries are there ... i.e Warriors and Spurs as usual

It is a lost situation by advance for Minny ... Very few impact/solid role players would go to Sota even if Wiggins and KAT became great

    Same for Pels ...

Wiggins , KAT and A.Davis are wasting 9 seasons of their career , team success wise

This is just the way it is .

rookie contract : 4 seasons , the qualifying offer in year 5 makes it very difficult for the player to go to another team without taking a huge financial risk ... and their team can match any offer.

so 99.999% of these rookies are going to sign a 5 years extension with the team they were drafted by = 9 seasons to wait for being a free agent .

Agreed. This is what I was hoping for except that we would be more successful... Sigh.

It is sad to see how WIDE open the western conference suddenly is and we failed to capitalize on it given our relatively easy schedule to start the season...we have fallen well below expectations....expectations that only Lakers fans and Lakers org had for the Lakers...not everyone else in the mainstream media who had us finishing 14th in the west.

I mean...look at this man..grizzlies, pelicans and rockets...all were virtual locks IMO to make the playoffs....and now they're on the outside looking in. I mean the Jazz, Mavs, and Suns are all playing well above their expectations right now (well not really the Jazz but def Suns and Mavs)....so I dunno I think only 1 of those 3 between grizz, pels and rockets will make it in...well Pels are basically out....I dont see them coming out of a 1-11 hole in the WEST to make it to the playoffs...so its basically grizz or rockets that will have to fight to get in. It's going to be an interesting battle for seeds 5-8 in the West. Top 4 in my opinion will be GS Spurs Clips and Thunder so they're in for sure.

GOD I love watching the clippers fail. Steph Curry is just on another level. The warriors are just beautiful to watch. Thompson, Green, Barnes, Iggy, all with huge plays...

What a comeback by GS against the paper clips. I guess they got lucky again.

Green is a versatile defensive monster ...

Curry had a bad game and still finished with 40/10/4

Hahaha, freakin same old Clippers. Chris Paul, regardless of how well he played, seems to be on the floor on the wrong side of some incredible comebacks. Clippers gon clip.

Clippers clipped a 23 point lead. Also Warriors (Curry) are that good.

Looking at the box score, is Dubs bench realy that bad (sans Iggy)? Also, Rondo sure plays for that next contract, he's close to a triple double every game.

Dubs bench was missing Livingston and Barbosa

Size matters ... CP3 always has had trouble to close games out because he's often facing a bigger defender down the stretch ... Couldn't finish over Draymond and Barnes

Opponents can't punish GSW small ball lineup ... while they get destroyed on the defensive end .

Their small ball line up is quick and athletic, most teams can't keep up with that. Draymond is lucky to have such long arms, he can play center while you have Barnes, Iggy and Klay just zipping around on defense.

Watch, their first lost is going to be to us on Tuesday, book it! haha

HA! could we have some Clips doom in here? I'm hoping they keep winning and our young trio have the games of their lives against the DUBS

That the comeback came at the expense of the Clippers made watching Curry's heroics even greater.

    Clippers gon' clipp.

That core seriously needs to get blown up after this season. They're not going anywhere again.

Saw a clip of their befuddled owner Fester... Priceless. Rivers runs his mouth about the Warriors then proceeds to choke away a 23 point lead. I take pleasure in seeing him and his team go through that again.
