I bet Jim Buss is excited about this news since he likes to sign lottery pick busts.

Jim Buss does? Mitch Kupchak is the GM, not Jim.

Don't forget Kwame. He sucked. X wasn't bad. Earl Clark was ok. Jordan Hill was decent. Kendall Marshall was ok.

It was a pretty poor draft class. Best players are Oladipo, Antetokounmpo and Michael Carter-Williams.

It wasn't the worst, but it's headlined by underachievers. They could have had:

Oladipo, Noel, Burke, Antetekounmpo, Schroder, Dieng, Carter-Williams, or Gobert. Ground breaking? Maybe not, but any of those would have made an infinitely better pick than Bennett. Caldwell-Pope is very okay.

Underachievers that @CaCHooKa Man is referring to:

Otto Porter, Cody Zeller, Alex Len, Ben McLemore, CJ McCollum, Kelly Olynyk, Shabazz Muhammad, Shane Larkin, Tony Snell...

Yes, that whole list doesn't compare favorably with the class of 1996 well at all.....

Problem is Coach said Kobe would have the minutes at PF, probably 38 mins.. Will Bennet be okay fighting for the 10 mins left of PT with Bass and Randle? I mean that's just a little above 3 minutes each. But I have faith in Byron, he can make it happen.

he could very well go down as the biggest bust in NBA history

still not sure what the cavs were thinking drafting him #1 overall. no one even had him in the top 10 that year

it was a pretty weak draft but they still could've had someone like oladipo, giannis, or noel instead

I don't think he'll do that. I think he'll be like Joe Smith. Nothing spectacular and an odd choice at his draft spot, but a decent player.
