Shumpert, Rose, Dwight, Gordon, etc. all suffered some unfortunate injuries after signing with Adidas. Game over for Harden.

Don't even joke about my fantasy basketball star like that!

Seriously though strong move from Adidas. I dig it. Is Harden even getting his own shoes at Nike?

Adidas was Jordan's first choice. The short sighted idiot who ignored MJ's plea must be rolling in his grave right now.

Don't do it James. Do you enjoy your ACL?

Harden uses the Nike HyperChase. They're not officially signature shoes but considered "Harden's shoe". Yeah - surprised he hasn't launched a signature shoe deal. I'm sure it's in the works with Nike. Don't switch James. We like your ACL.

I'm guessing Nike matches, but if he doesn't then Adidas has to give him his own shoe right?

If I'm Nike I let him go. I don't he's worth it. I dont' buy his longetivity or his ability to really sell products. He doesn't have the it factor.

I was watching ATH or PTI yesterday, don't recall which, and they said the Jordan brand makes up such a ridiculous percentage basketball shoe sales (impressive given how long he's been away from the game). So Adidas is trying to buy into that remaining percentage as much as they can. And now you have Under Armour as a competitor for them as well.

I don't think he's worth it. By offering Harden that, he has to have a top 3-4 shoe for you. You have MJ, Bron, and Durant as a lock. Can he surpass Kobe, Rose, and CP3? Kobe will dip a little when he retire, but he's more popular in China than Harden will ever be.

I also read that Harden was butt hurt that Kyrie got his own shoe before he did.

I'm surprised Kobe's don't sell better. I think most of LeBron's shoes look really dumb while Kobe's are mostly pretty slick.

Whatever though. I guess even the casual fan is already willing to forget 5-7 Kobe in favor of the GOAT 2-4 LeBron.

I'm no Jordan fan, but his shoes are the best. A few of Kobe's shoes are great, but I think they missed the mark more often than not. KD has some nice shoes. I hate Bron and his shoes and anyone who wears them.
