If he's not traded, waive him.

Maybe if we gave our bench role players MORE consistent minutes and MORE minutes, they’d be in a better rhythm. Let’s do it JJ. Let’s see more Gabe, Knipple light, Vando, etc

have to remove him from jj's choices. it would be different if he were defending, as that's usually the problem with young guards. but he's not.

    I miss Tierre Brown.

Gabe is reaching Isaiah Thomas levels of bumness.

    He gotta go.

What the hell is it with coaches and their pet players? This guy sucks and I groan every time I see him check into the game. Please get rid of this guy or bury him so far on the bench that Bronny gets minutes over him.

There’s no reason to play home, absolutely none. You could play Bronny and at least get some defensive effort and a little playmaking. You could Nick Smith Jr and at least get some scoring. Gabe does NOTHING, he’s too small to bother anyone, he barely attempts to score, and he has no PG skills.

It's the expiring contract JJ that's it isn't it? How about you stop playing players that don't actively suck the life of their treatments like a vampire.
Your have force multipliers in luke and lebron and you have force destroyers in Gabe

    lol tough crowd
But he's been bad, comically bad. We're playing 4 on 5 with him on the court. He gives us nothing on either end. He's not an NBA player at this point.

But who do we play besides him in that position? Has anyone stepped up?

A Laker girl. At least they might be able to distract the other team. Gabe is Casper out there.

    Nick Smith or Mañon.
Nick has played well enough at times. Mañon can play much better defense than Gabe currently is.
JJ is dropping the ball on this one.

Ok, I'm curious. Going to run through the league's list of backup PGs. Trying to see if I'd take Gabe over any of them.

    ATL-no
    BOS-no
    CHA-no
    BKN-no but it's close
    CHI-no
    DET-no
    IND-no
    MIA-probably
    MIL-no
    NY-no
    ORL-no
    PHI-no
    WAS-no
    DAL-no
    DEN-no
    GS-no
    HOU-no
    LAC-no
MEM-depends on who you're counting as their starter, they're so decimated by injury. Jerome is making his debut soon, so I'm going to say no here, as well.
    MIN-no
    NO-no
    PHO-no
    SA-no
    SAC-no
    UTA-yeah

So there are four teams where I'm even willing to hear the argument. But personally, there are only two worse backup PGs. Making him at best the 58th best PG in the NBA.

*teams like Orlando, Philly, and Clipps don't even employ a traditional backup PG. Their SG gets some on ball reps when the PG sits. I pick that option over Fit Bit Gabe.
