Ayton strikes me as a little Dwight-ish. Odd personality that can really clash with certain other types of personalities, like Ayton did with CP3 and Kobe did with Dwight. Had the CP3 trade gone through I imagine he and Kobe would have really bonded in their joint frustration with Dwight lol. But it seems like JJ/Luka/Austin/LeBron are getting along fine with Ayton, so its a non-issue.

20 and 13 on 10/11 shooting from the field. Some of those shots he made had a high degree of difficulty while being guarded by Mark Williams. Just such a key player for this team.

Deandre has been incredible with how high a % he hits from inside the key, away from the rim. Seems like he’s hitting 70-80% in there for the entire season.

I'd rather he doesn't sit? Why is he sitting after 3 days of rest?

no details on it, just left elbow soreness. strange. with kessler out, utah doesn't really play big. filipowski is the only center they've been playing, i think, so i guess the plan is to try to beat them at their game. iffy. they can score. we can't defend. though maybe vando getting the backup c minutes will be a boon on that end.

And probably over half of that 71% is from short mid range. The guy's touch is incredible.

Uh oh the Suns fans all coming out today laughing at Ayton being soft and only getting 2 rebounds.

Are we going to get the lazy one now?

You guys realize that Ayton is shooting over 70% from the field? He's doing it mostly on jumpers, not a majority of dunks. We need to run some more sets, in his sweet spots, and get this guy the ball more moving forward.

Cranjiss has posted a bunch about the first Phoenix game is they started pre hedging - they are selling out to take away the PnR game. Lakers haven't done much to counter this so Ayton is being game planned out by teams.

    Lakers need to adjust

That's the game. Teams aren't supposed to just concede, what you want to do. NBA hoops is about making adjustments and counter adjustments, it's a chess match. We are only in December, you need a deeper bag, if you plan on being in contention. Lebron and Luka have very high basketball IQ's.

JJ needs to figure this out- that’s why he’s getting paid the big bucks.
