I was impressed with how well he played after 2 twisted ankles rehabbed from and 3 missed games.

I liked how Lin kept going to Kobe to ask him something after every play. Having two ball dominant guards is no easy task, but if Jeremy can start getting Kobe some easier looks, and Jeremy looks to be aggressive if the defense is trying to cheat on Kobe, I see a very good possibility of a solid 1-2 pick and roll there.

    Option 1 - Kobe pick and pop/roll.
Option 2 - Kobe mismatch on the opposing PG.
Option 3 - The defenders both go for Kobe and Lin attacks the basket/takes the open jumper.

The great thing about both Hill and Boozer is that even though those two are working, they are constantly working off the ball, cutting, getting into position for an offensive board.

Only one I have a problem with, which is no surprise, is Wes. He just stands there, waiting for a shot. Or if he does get the ball, he's tries to do too much and turns the ball over. I'm sorry, but Wes should not be starting at all, let alone be a backup.

If last night is any indication of how he is going to play, we are going to be very happy with Lin this season.

It will take time for him and Kobe to develop chemistry, but he looked great out there.

I don't think Kobe/Lin will take too long because they're both incredibly intelligent.

I love that not only is Lin comfortable enough to keep the ball even if Kobe is calling for it, but that Kobe trusts him to do it. That takes heart, strength, and ability. Lin can get to the basket as easily as any guard we've had in the last 20 years not named Kobe Bryant. If Jeremy can spot-up shoot the three for us... He could come close to earning the All-Star berth he's likely to get from the Chinese fans.

I'm starting to believe he could be our PG moving forward. Even if we somehow net Durant in two years, playing with one of the greatest ball-dominant players of all time will help prepare Lin for that.

I'm excited and hopeful that Lin can be the guy for us moving forward. Lin, Young, Davis, and Randle is a good start.

I agree with what Lin said in his post game interview he had some really nice stretches and then some pretty bad possessions with the turnovers. He's still getting used to the system and some of the players coming back from injury.

Keep up the great work Jeremy

Lin is so exciting to watch on the offensive end. Loved his play tonight.

Got to cut down on the turnovers, but that's been a problem all his career. He'll have games like that.

Hopefully he can make up for them like he did last night. Good game from Jeremy.

Sometimes he gets caught on his dribbling or he tries to make a pass that shouldn't be made. With better chemistry with the team, some tutelage under Kobe and Nash, he'll improve in that department.

I liked how he was not hesitant with his decisions whether to attack, to pass, to shoot, and hit his shot at a decent clip.

    Excellent game from JLin.

I really have to say I am more and more impressed with Jeremy Lin. I was really happy with this move to begin with but he took it hard to the Kings tonight. Really looking forward to see what he can do this year. He was 6 of 12 tonight with 19 points, 7 assists, and only 3 turnovers. He's going to be good for us!

Lin will make Kobe's job easier cause right now, he is much better than Kobe at attacking the basket and breaking down a defender off the dribble and this might sound crazy but he's one of the best playmakers off the p&r. He's been setting our bigs up with easy looks all preseason. He just excels off the p&r, whether that's making the right passes or getting to the rack.

People talk about how we might be able to move him by midseason but I'm not sure I would. He might be a keeper for the long haul if he keeps playing like this. Definitely good enough to be the pg on a championship squad.

If this Laker team was a contender for a title I would not be that enthused with Lin as the starting PG, but in a rebuild mode he looks like as good an option that they could of found out there. I like how he is a real match up problem for all those quick smaller PG's Like Collison last night. He's got the skills to get by them and then is much bigger easily scoring over them in the paint. This will either cause doubles, or a big leaving his man to help. His shooting skills are ok not great, his basketball IQ is fantastic. On defense though he is average at best, giving great effort but without the lateral quickness to stop quality PG's. Ideally he would be a back up for a top PG getting 20+ minutes at both guard positions.

But history has proven that you don't need a star pg to win rings. Just someone decent and Lin is more than decent. He can make plays on his own or just play the regular pg role of distributing. I would be fine with Lin at pg if we were competing for a title.

I think we could already be set at pg and pf. And I have some hope that Clarkson can be our sg of the future but we have to see how his skills develop, especially his scoring skills.

Well, I still believe in the flaws in his game at this time in history. His history is still being written and could dramatically change for the positive with hard work on those flaws. He's playing for a new contract this season and I'm hoping to be blown away by his play this season garnering him a nice long term deal from the Lakers.I say bring on the season and let's see him be all he can be totally changing my opinion.

J-Lin is going to be our best PG in a LONG time.
I have him projected at 13 points and at least 5 assists (he could be up as high as 7, I think) per game.

I have been impressed with what Jeremy Lin has done so far. He attacks the paint with no fear. He is much easier to like now that he is not playing for his arch frenemies Blowhard and the Beard. He is tough.

I'm concerned. Isn't the general rule that PGs who play well against us and subsequently end up on our roster usually end up sh#@ting the bed once the season starts? (See: Blake, Nash)
