Regarding the Zion Situation: what can ya say w/o coming off like an a-hole? Why did she stay in contact w/him after the alleged first time?

See? I already sound like I'm defending him, but I'm not. It's the problem that's baked into stories like this. The sober response, at this point, is to just read about this account and stay quiet. "Hmmmm..." Later: Zion has his side of the story: STFU and think, "Hmmmm..." Like 'at.

That NBA players have enormous numbers of sexual opportunities: obvious.
That NBA players have enormous bank accounts: obvious.
That a lot - maybe most - NBA players haven't lived in the "real world" since their junior year in HS, when coaches and scouts started telling them they could "make it" in college and then the NBA: obvious.
That most - or a lot - of NBA players are not exactly "well-rounded" individuals: I would think this is obvious. But then: compared to what? Some Joe Twelve-Pack with an office job or a fork lift dude?

    I don't know jack-jit do I?

we're all rooting for the pacers, right? i mean, i know they're not going to win, but their style of play and team makeup is just much more enjoyable for me. they pass and move a lot, the thunder barely pass nor move. i'd rather spawn a bunch of pacer copycats than okc copycats, both from an aesthetic and from a team-building theory (pacers never tanked).

I'm constantly surprised when the playoffs roll out every year. First: all I care about is Lakers.

    Lakers.

Lakers. Eff every other team. Who cares about them. Let's steamroll through everyone for the Larry.

But, if they Lakers bow out, I say, I don't really care, but tend to not like some team or coach or a player or two that has me biased as I watch. Then I find I favor one team over another, and have to ask myself: Why? So first it's emotional, then intellectual. EX: I really disliked DEN 'cuz of Malone. Then he got canned and I found it was easier to root for the Joker and his team. None of this makes much sense, 'cuz it's emotional, mostly.

And I've watched OKC all year. They scare me. They shouldn't have won 80 games so far. Why? They're too effing young. And my gawd, I don't know a lot about Daigneault but he's done a fantastic job.

I think OKC moves the ball enough to win all those games. Sure, SGA scores 30 every damned game, but everyone can score (esp. the starter Jalen Williams), everyone hits the 3, everyone plays D, they're deep, they're fast, and play good fundamental ball. I'm jealous. And: I'm not crazy about the fans and their state. There. I said it.

So: Indiana: not crazy about their state either. But as I watched them earlier this year - they were like MIN to me: these guys are WAY better on paper than they're playing. Why aren't they playing up to snuff? Guess I was wrong about them. But them both teams coalesced around the same time. I think MIN go outplayed by the juggernaut Thunder. (<----Juggernauts: good name for a topless bar?)

I just realize how non-rational all my stuff is here: Timothy Chalamet? Come on...I do like Pacers ball. They live up to their name, and if OKC gets back after every made basket, they'll go a long way to shutting down IND. 'Cuz IND pushes the pace. But, like abeer, I am rooting for them in the Finals.

But if you forced me to say how I think it's gonna go. (No one has.) I guess: OKC in 5. And I hope I'm wrong.

The good news: I usually am wrong.

i think okc in five. both teams thrive on not turning it over, but okc does so by just...not passing. indy hasn't seen this kind of defensive speed, and it's going to disrupt them fundamentally. haliburton isn't luka in that he can't just get buckets all game long when things aren't clicking offensively, and those lulls will be the end of them.

again, i hope i'm wrong, as iso-ball and tanking are both things i don't like.

im trying to care about teh nba finals, but i can care less. Shae is a fun player to watch but lol something about small market teams like this with no other star names involved makes it so disinteresting. At least for me
