The suns team is just horrible, it isn't even like the nets when all their stars were 1 season away from a retirement home. Call me crazy, but I dont think beal would even be a 1-2 all star in the 2000s. For sure not a perennial all star.
watched second half of knicks game, and man, i don't really enjoy watching brunson. i thought the nba got rid of the upfake lean-in stuff. det's defenders were pretty disciplined and still getting some weird whistles on those, imo. otherwise, they were letting both teams do a lot of bumping and hacking. watching beasley shank wide open threes as ny came back brought back memories. he must be great when i'm not watching games, lol. schroder was also out there schrodering. by this, i mean both making tough, clutch plays, and also being a big part of why the knicks erased a 12 point deficit. like, you better make that three after some of the choices you made and shots you missed leading up to that point. now watching the clips/nuggets and so far it's mostly if kawhi's out there, the clips look good and if jokic is out there, the nuggets look good. and if either is sitting, their team falls apart offensively. having those two have to face off in round 1 is much like luka/ant in our series. weird that one will be out in the first round.
These two sum up his play perfectly. He's really an awful watching experience. Shame, cause he doesn't need to lean into that. He's good enough without it. Can't say I've watched Detroit at all this year when they haven't played us, so was a strange watch. Beas and DS definitely showed the roller coaster highs and lows they are notorious for (shame Beas couldn't hit ANYTHING as a Laker). If Knicks got literally anything out of KAT in that second half, they win. Pistons stole this one without Stewart. edit: Just went to LD and saw Weezy also utilized the one tweet and that KAT went Casper. Good calls Weez. It is, but you almost need the tough matchup for them this early because Kawhi isn't going to hold up. Better for them to have him for this one than a wasted series against a Memphis or Houston...both frauds (just throwing out two easier hypothetical matchups, my head still hurts too much from all the end of the season standings drama to look back at who they might've actually played if not Denver)
I didn't know what happened: Game 1 MEM@OKC, so I clicked on "watch key plays" with Roku streaming. That lasted about 20 secs. So: I didn't really watch it at all, but does anyone know if Ja made the grenade/gun/bow and arrow thing when they were down 21? 31? 41? 51?
Have you met yourself? Shouldn't be confident cause Worst playoff coach in NBA history. Dame ain't right and these Pacers are DEEP.
Saw that Jimmer Fredette has announced his retirement from trying to play professional basketball. His mom wanted some unique name for him and so called him "Jimmer" and I think he was never able to recover from such a blow.
They lost the first 2 on the road. If they hold serve at home, they just have to win one on the road. And we just found out that Haliburton is the most overrated player in the NBA, so you never know......
