Wow, that is awful. I've got nothing personal invested in the Sixers, but this kid was supposed to be something special and he hasn't even been able to play a game yet. It sucks, this is not what you want to see, you want to see guys healthy and being able to play, and making the league fun to watch. I really hope he does play at some point and is not another Greg Oden. My best friend is a Sixers fan though, and he is gonna be down today, only having drafted Okafor and still having Noel can ease his pain I imagine.

Damn... at least Oden played a game or two.
Im sorry for him, all that talent and he can't give it a go.

Well if those last few pictures we've seen are legit, he's enormous now. Being enormous is not a benefit to stressed out bones.

I loved watching this kid in college. His post game was Dream-esque. I hope he can turn this around, but it's certainly not looking good.

Damn that's rough. Hope he can recover for the sake of the league and the eastern conference.

I'd hate for anyone to have their career cut off at the precipice like that. I'm rooting for him to come back strong.

Apparently he isn't helping himself by drinking and partying all the time. I guess that's what happens when you make money sometimes...you get lazy. If he's smart, even if he can't play ball forever, he can live off his rookie contract for life. He might also have a career in comedy...he's pretty funny on Twitter....

Now the Okafor move is looking really good for the Sixers....

If you keep drafting centers surely you can outrun a curse. No curse can be that strong can it?

Just seems like a waste considering he had talent, and he wasn't just a tall stiff.

I thought this was more of a long term solution to the Embiid injury. Not like he reinjured something, but his docs saw this as a more permanent solution. Here's hoping.
