Yeah, there's some overreacting, as usual. He literally won us the Pacers game the night before. I'm not going to kill him for a mental lapse in a B2B game. There was definitely some fatigue involved, both physically and mentally by the entire team, including JJ.

He thought he was Jordan and playing for the Bulls there for a split second. I understand, $#% happens.

Seriously now, this is obviously mental fatigue. I could blame him for the loss, but I won't. We put ourselves in the position to win, but ended up losing on that incredible half court shot... what can you do? Go home, re-focus, try to get some sleep, and just keep plugging.

Yeah, I agree and I'm not going that far. I don't think he needs to retire or anything. And there's plenty of blame to go around for the loss.

But, I do expect more from him given who he is and what we all know he can do. He could have still won that for us IMO.

At least LBJ knows he did horribly. Perhaps he should've sat like Rui, but what's done is done.

We just have to bounce back and figure out how to play more consistent basketball. Lebron needs to get his jumper back too.

Last time he tore his groin, he looked pretty bad when he came back. I hope that's all we're seeing here and by the playoffs, he's himself again.
Before he was hurt, he was doing a lot of cutting, a lot of off the ball movement and he was active defensively, and he seemingly isn't any more.
Hopefully he gets back to that because when he was playing off of Luka in that matter we looked unbeatable.

yeah, i wonder if it's not wise to just rest him more if we're going to lose 3/4 of our games anyway?

i can't imagine that playing while trying to avoid certain movements is better than just resting, both for his health and for the on-court product?

Yeah he hasn't found rhythm shooting (that 3 pointer has been non existent) and most of his points are posting or drives.

I think its always a conundrum with playing vs. resting. Obviously, it seems like he's trying to play himself back into rhythm, but we at least have to limit his minutes. Playing 40 minutes back to back when its not playoffs at 40 years old is not a good idea.

yeah, i'm not a pro trainer nor coach, nor lebron. they all know better than i do. but him being half-lebron hasn't helped in the short-term at all.

Movement and 3 ball looked better last night. Headband related?

Did have a couple uncharacteristic blown layups though.

Apparently Bron had a very productive 4th quarter huddle with the team during the Memphis game that played a big role in the W.

This league is rigged against Lebron... How is this dude playing 35 minutes per game and only attempting 4.5 FT's per game...?

Because he's big and strong but Shai is skinny and frail, someone the refs think Shai is the one getting hit more?

He has to have one of the lowest FT/FGA in the league right now.. especially for a superstar top 10 player in the league. It's embarrassing the missed calls that he doesn't get.

Also looks like he will be scoring under 25 PPG for the first time since his rookie season.

Thought he played really well tonight. 3 balls isn't back yet though.

They need to get reps where he is playing the Draymond Green short roll guy on the PnR - that looks unstoppable but they don't seem to run it a whole lot.

LeBron came up clutch tonight which is not unusual. He’s one of the most clutch players of all time even though there’s this BS narrative that he hasn’t been clutch in his career. That block late in the game was huge along with those two free throws when we were struggling to get the ball in bounds and he calmly knocked both of them down.

He's getting there. I thought the last two games were a better version of himself; he still isn't back to the level where he was western conference player of the month quite yet, but it's coming...
