He injured himself flopping, I guess that is playoff mode.

Well the timing of his injury might turn out to be blessing in disguise. If we're being honest, we would have been OK going 4-4 during this stretch even if fully healthy. We're probably going 1-7 or 0-8 and we'll drop to the 5th/6th seed in the West. So that's 3 or 4 more losses than expected. We can make up for those losses if Lebron comes back in a week or two to make a final push. Hopefully we're coming out of this stretch with a rejuvenated Lebron, similar to his performance in January/February.

I recall saying I definitely didn’t think the pace he was playing at was sustainable. Hopefully, it’s something minor and he’s able to come back pretty quickly from it without it nagging him for the rest of the year

I think it was a couple things: he was trying to lead by example with Luka. If he's doing that at 40, you're going to get Luka to up the effort. Second, I think he saw this team had a legit shot to at least make the WCF. Entering the season, no way he saw that as an option. So there's a level of buy in and desperation because there's such a finite number of those chances left in his career.

I’m sure he was pumped up, and I bet his ego played a role as well. He’s never played with anybody at Luka’s level most likely, and I am not sure he’s ready to pass the torch 100% yet no matter what he says.

but to put up those numbers and get player of the month at 40 in year 22 is pretty absurd. We all knew it couldn’t last, but it sure helped push us in the right direction.

We need him, Jax and Rui back if we want to keep winning. I am, of course, all for them trying to recover as fully as possible, but I can't wait to see the starting 5 back on the court. That was fun to watch, but it did not last very long.

@sirronstuff just hates LeBron. LOL. :).

LBJ should have waited to handle Stephen A in private, though. Just be more discreet; why? So he could slap the sh** out of him w/no witnesses.

LeBron is a lot of things, but I can't stand Stephen A.

I don't think it should've been done privately because then Screaming A could more easily spin his own narrative of what happened. Everyone saw and heard what happened in front of the world. He can't hide or lie about it. Everything Bron does is calculated. He knew what he was doing.

I just said so he could slap him. You're right otherwise. LOL.

@VladeD714 To be fair, sirron has been upfront about his feelings towards Lebron since the day we signed him. He hasn't changed his stance even after Lebron recruited AD and won us a title.

Just NO and in no argument is Screaming A NOT a bigger s*** stain to the world of sports if one must hang onto the premise LeBron is “one” in the first place. At some point you’d think it would register what James has Actually done on the court for 22 straight years “maybe” ought to cut him a little slack to move “one” off that attitude.

Oh sorry … not directed at you ;)

    … for @The Rock
