First series Olynk tore out Loves shoulder too. I think they win that one of healthy.

Third one no one was beating that Warriors team.woth Durant Simply the greatest team of all time that one IMO. Maybe the greatest testament to Lebron's greatness is the Warriors which would eventually win3 titles without Durant needed add him to beat peak Lebron

The craziest thing is that even with Kyrie and Love out, LeBron ABSOLUTELY DID make it a series. He was borderline superman. And that's when I really did start to come around on LeBron. His finals the next year, which was as unbelievable as it was unprecedented, is what finally won me over.

Superhuman is a good way of putting it. Cleveland Lebron during his second stint was a monster. That was not the same Lebron that we saw earlier in his career.

3 ball wasn't there except for that one with just under 2 minutes left. But he was big time. Great on the glass. Had to fight 8 Knicks for most of those rebounds. I swear Thibs gets to sub in extra players to crash. All of them are in there. Thought I even saw Thibs and what's left of his hair in there battling for one of them.

On a night the supporting cast largely didn't have it. He had to put up 30+

    He passed Timmy tonight

Anyone else notice how quickly he's been leaving the court as the game ends lately. Heard a theory it's to fully push Luka into the spotlight and really make this his team. That makes some sense cause he's had some games during this run where he'd definitely be the on court interview.

I’ve been picking up on this for the last handful of games. Initially I thought he might have had to just use the toilet one game when he didn’t been wait for the buzzer but walked off before. But it’s a trend now.

I assumed he’s trying to get his feet in ice as soon as possible.

Another great performance. He really stepped up with those clutch free throws.

I think SAS said something stupid about Bronny. LeBron normally doesn’t care about all the silly criticism directed towards him, but when you talk about his family that crosses a line for him and rightfully so. Say what you want about the man, but he is a great father he will defend his kids tooth and nail and that includes Bronny.

The twitter lip readers all agree it's some version of this:

Our muscle is there to f*** him up if Bron gives the word

Yes you did and yes you would've.

Guess we'll hear some version of the events all day today on ESPN, then his pod, then whatever radio hits he does today too.

The entire reaction to Bronny was over the top and just flat out silly at times given when he was picked. Notice the talk around him has quieted down quite a bit since he has been playing well in the G league.

Stephen A Smith went on and on about how horrible LeBron was as a father for wanting the Lakers to draft him which just ridiculous and clearly trying to stir something up. A couple of days ago when he discussed LeBron rightfully calling out the horrible way the game is covered and how much damage he and Skip Bayless have caused to sports talk, he played clips of Bronny missing shots in the background on his podcast.

I could go on, but Smith wanted smoke and has got it.

I stand completely with LeBron on this.

Stephen A. Smith is a complete ***hat and a buffoon, and aside from that beautiful soliloquy he gave the day we traded Kwah-May Brown for Pau, he has proven to be completely worthless and a net negative as a sports journalist.

    [Deep breath]

THAT SAID, if LeBron wanted to engineer his son’s getting drafted into the NBA by his own team, the Lakers, then both he and his son are fair game for criticism. Don’t like hearing people bad mouth your son? Don’t draft him onto your NBA team. Don’t like being criticized for drafting your son? Grow a thicker skin. That’s journalism. It makes Bronny look weak when his dad steps in to defend him.

Current in the top 5 for MVP and if he keeps playing like this on both ends of the court he'll deserve to finish 3rd. AT 40. four-teeee!

    One of one.

Has any 40-year old ever received MVP votes before? I’d be very surprised if that was true.

EDIT: just checked. The last time Kareem got any votes he finished 5th in 1986, when he would have been 39. Pretty impressive. But not 40.

Yeah. I get it but I just can't go with the thicker skin angle here or on any of these stories with the NBA anymore.

These media guys are awful and we all see it. But anytime someone rightfully calls them out on their nonsense we tell them they are being sensitive. I disagree. We know when someone is being fair in their analysis and when they are just taking potshots. I mean, Karl Towns was out dealing with the loss of someone with cancer and you've got Draymond and other media outlets going on and on about him being afraid to play against Jimmy Butler, a guy he is actually like 6-3 against.

I don't recall much from Lebron initially here when it comes to Bronny. The talking heads like Smith and Barkley saw that and just kept ramping it up, going further and further right up to an hour long rant about what a horrible dad LeBron is because his son...checks notes...is also a millionaire and in the NBA. Yeah, that guy is really failing at fatherhood.

These guys are just sitting around talking crap taking shots at guys

It's out of control and the NBA has to reign these guys in. I hope more players call them out over the horrible takes.

The first Stephen A has to say about the encounter... definitely not the last. Going to milk this story dry
