Whether he plays 1, 2, 3 or 5 more years. Where closer to the end when comparing it to a 20 year career. This is his encore.

I hope he gets to leave on his own terms, because a big injury at 40 is usually curtains closed. I think its important to keep this in mind and enjoy it as much as possible.

Here’s a question. Would any records be left to break if Kobe had LeBron’s body/genetics?

    Same with Shaq.

LeBron needs to score just 18 points to get 50000 points combined in regular season and playoffs and if Lakers will win it would be LeBron's 1000 win in regular season

He is transitioning in to Wes Unseld. I believe so, it means we have our dynamic dominating defense on the floor. Luka running the offense allows LeBron to express himself in other ways.

James doesn't have to do EVERYTHING as Doncic is now initiating the offense up top. Not as much Hero Ball as before. Good to see he is transitioning well. Defensively he can ramp it up with Finney-Smith and Vanderbilt on the same floor with him. The board work is a surprise given how much he is snagging off the glass.

Kobe was too maniacal. He would have busted at some point anyway. Shaq on the other hand, would have won 8-10 titles if he gave a s***.

W.T.F was that. If you told me he had like dental surgery a bit before the game and was coming off the gas the whole time I might believe you. 8 turnovers, 6-17 shooting, pounding the ball when it would be better in Luka’s hands, just horrendous. Hopefully he got that out of his system and gets the 50k out of the way early the next game and plays like himself again.

We absorbed a bad game from Lebron tonight. This isn't last year's Lakers.

He took a seat around 6:30 in the 4th when he was just really playing lousy. In the last few years, we wouldn't have been able to sit Lebron at that moment and would have had to ride him out the whole 4th to around 40 mins. Most probably we would have lost the game because he would have been playing bad and gassing out simultaneously.

    This is a new team.

First time in the last 7 years I was saying myself “LeBron please stop shooting” that was an uncharacteristically bad game. He just kept chucking up shots and dominating the ball. LeBron is my favorite player of all time after Kobe, but the ball needs to be in Luka’s hands at this stage of his career. Period. It will only make life easier for LeBron when he’s playing off the ball and not just pounding the rock for 20 seconds.

Had an Old Man Game. Comforting to know that he is surrounded by capable teammates. Glad to see he is letting them carry him for once.

Relax it was one game …. jeezus he’s been averaging 29 for a month and a half since turning 40 on 55 shooting and 43 from deep. No “period” the ball has to be in Luka’s hands. It’s going to continue to rotate to him and AR as well at times to play make.

The man has been carrying us while Luka was getting his legs and eye back. He will be okay.
