    i'll obviously really miss AD and will be rooting for him in dallas. i think they have the right kind of guys around him (though i'm not sure about pj washington needing to move to sf).

    folks may know that dallas is the other nba team i follow (i lived there for 15 years), so this trade was easier in that regard.

    Second most under appreciated Laker behind Pau.
    It was very up and down with the injuries after the Chip, but those can never be foreseen.
    Thank you for being great in a Laker uni and I will continue to root for you.
    Still shocked.

    My gut is that Dallas will look better in the short term than LA.. Easier to fit AD with Kyrie than Luka with LeBron & Reaves, etc.

    I'm in favor of retiring his shirt, and I don't say this lightly. He was an absolute stud for us, brought us a championship, and now died for Luka.

    I hope he can finish his career as a Laker like Kareem.

    Went to bed after the game feeling good about the team. And woke up to this bombshell

    I still can't bring myself to process it. How do you replace what AD brings to the team?

    Is luka really ready to sacrifice for the franchise, because am not sure he planned for this.

    Surely we need more trades before the deadline?

    Am really gutted about Max as well

    Still in shock.

    Has anyone from the front office commented yet on the plan going forward?

    I get why AD doesn’t win DPOY, people don’t watch him play. Like clearly no one watches him play, the disrespect is insane. He put up like 40/23 in his last full game with us

    Great player going to miss AD will never forget the epic 2020 title run. He was under appreciated like Pau was as someone already said earlier. One day he’ll get his jersey retired.

    I’ll miss you AD. Sorry you had to be the big piece going out in the trade. You were under appreciated in my opinion as a Laker. Hopefully the Mav fans don’t blame you for the Luka trade and take it out on you. I think they will end up loving what you bring to the game. Good luck except when you play the Lakers.
