I'm guessing that neither the mavs nor the pacers will act dishonorably at this point. that's clip territory.

Best case scenario is Jordan goes back to LA, Hibbert still comes to the Lakers, and we all get to watch Cuban cry even harder than he did over the cp3 lakers trade

Oh and Mr popular Chandler Parsons too. Eff that guy

    Pacers, probably not.

Cubans pissed. and He's vengeful, I wouldn't put it past him to call Larry with a better offer.

I think Cuban will direct his vengeance appropriately (not at the lakers). should be interesting to see how he plans to take on the league office and the clippers on this one. then again, I could see him just walking out, too.

Mavs are going to tank to get their top pick and try to get Ben Simmons. Should be no worry about them going for Hibbert. (I hope)

The problem I see is that they're not quite bad enough to start tanking.

They've lost pretty much their entire team in anticipation of signing DJ

Matthews should've gone to Sacto. Sucker.

Oh they're definitely tank worthy without Jordan.

Don't they still have Dirk, Parsons and Mathews?

they certainly are. the only thing in the way is that Carlisle is the second-best coach in the nba. I'm wondering if they let him out of his contract after this. which would suck for them, as getting your hands on coaches of that quality is difficult (ask the lakers...).

Dirk is 37 years old, Parsons is a good 3rd option at best and Matthews just tore his Achilles 4 months ago

Sorry guys I don't really see them losing that many (60+) games. Not with that core of Mathews, Parsons, Dirk.

Yes I know. Still don't see them falling to the worst 3 teams in the league.

I believe their pick is top 7 protected.

That's not I was implying to. I don't think it's even worth considering a Tank if you're not one of the 3 worst teams in the league. I mean, what would a 6th or 7th pick get you in a weak draft class?

I think alot of you are quick to forget what it takes to yield the 4th worst record in the league. The 2014-15 Lakers: A team with a rookie (Clarkson) as their best player, having players like Wayne Ellington and Wesley Johnson as starters.

No, the Mavs aren't even remotely close to being that bad.

Clippers showing why they're the douchebags of the league. I really hate them and Dan Gilbert. From a pure basketball standpoint, Jordan shouldn't have left in the first place. Who did he think was gonna spoonfeed him those 2 foot shots in Dallas?

Apparently Cuban talked about this on the radio last week. He was saying that this year is different. After so many teams have tanked for years, all the truly terrible teams have actually improved a bit. The Knicks and Magic went from garbage to playoff contenders in the East. Minnesota's gotta improve with the development of Wiggins and addition of Towns. We're obviously way better.

So is this thing finalized yet? It's the 9th already somewhere.
