Worst game he's had as a Laker, but can't be too mad because A) he had just went scorched earth against the kings in the 4th. B) if the refs didn't completely f*** us over and over again last night, we still squeak out the W despite our slew of problems throughout the game.

I expect a much better showing in Cleveland for the James family tomorrow night. Lot of reasons to have juice for that one.

As many pointed out, he starts seasons slowly and it showed last game. He has just won us a game a couple nights earlier so he's forgiven lol
It's up to the rest of the team to step up, we have enough firepower. AD,Rui and Reaves are doing it, it's up to DLo

I honestly don't want Bron going for 30 or TDs every night until March. We can only win a championship with him at his peak in postseason, don't think that happens if he's carrying the team. He's still able to affect the game in other ways and won't be as bad as he were last game, I imagine

Old man with nothing left to prove has more pride and love of competing then half the roster it feels at times

He still gave up in a couple defensive possessions. I get it though, it's on the other guys to lead the way, we shouldn't depend of a 40y old. We have been beating on DLo, but Reaves is also proving he's not consistent enough. He can't have bad games in this roster. It was probably worth to trade him for Dejounte to be honest

been saying it for a couple years. he's fantastic for a 39 year old. but he makes the same money that the 25 year old do-it-all superstars do.

and again, i'm fine with it as long as he's not agitating for roster moves that are complicated by his giant salary. tim duncan took cuts late in his career despite still being one of the league's best players, and he got a ring or two out of it. that ship's sailed here, and that's ok, he's earned the right to make that choice. but he definitely made that choice.

Lebron is the 14th highest paid player in the league annually. His salary is pretty much in line with his on court production when compared to others.

NBA salaries will continue to get higher and higher so this notion that he should be making "20 million" is ludicrous.

not 20, but 40 isn't out of the question if you want to win. lesser players have taken cuts and won.

and the 14th is a bit disingenous, as the difference between him and #5 is us giving his son a guaranteed contract as the #55 pick overall. another thing i'm fine with, btw!

and once again, i'm not complaining about until HE starts saying we need to trade all of our future first round picks for draymond green or something.

    Beastly stat line last night

Dialed it up for nothing. Shame. I'd like to ask the rest of the team, mainly our starting and backup backcourt, how they can see the oldest man in the league do that while they fail to bring the necessary effort and still look in the mirror after the game.

if he was Kobe I'd be happy for him. Mostly I'm meh at this point. it's already been shown through stats our winning record is very poor when he goes off for big points. I get AD was out, but whatever.

Well, he wanted to take a paycut but Rob fumbled the ball (i really thought we would grab Valenciunas). Klay just screwed us, so f*** him.
